Grow Weed Easy?

I've never grown, but I enjoy studying how to grow and learning anything and everything I can about the magical plant. I'm currently reading the guide on GrowWeedEasy.com about how to successully grow plants using a bubbleponics system and some information on the site kinda struck my attention so I was hoping I could see what you guys think...

The site basically states thats if you harvest your buds too early you get the "in-your-head" effect compared to being patient during the last period of flowering and not harvesting until hairs are dark in color and have begun curling to get the "stoney, heavy eye lids" effect. So based off that information, you could simply harvest your buds early for a more sativa effect or wait for the correct time to harvet and get a more indica effect?

Just wanted to see what any of you guys had to say about this theory.

Thanks

yes pretty much grow your own to find out; grow easy doesn't exist, its hard work; things you WILL need; intake fan ,outtake fan, ducting, HID/LED(flower), A/C unit, fish pump, DWC system, ph/ppm/ec meter(needs a thermometer built in), and a tent to control environment.have fun yes sorry everyone pays out the ass for equipment.

Im interested in what your thoughts are on the sativa/indica effects relating to early harvest or late harvest and the theory I posted. I know growing isnt easy, the title is the reflection of the website name in which Im reading the guide....GrowWeedEasy.com...

nonsense. Growing is super duper easy!!!!!!!@!@!

buy your equipment used and if you find yourself buying a ph/ppm meter you should kick yourself in the nuts.

Sativa's are sativa's and Indica's are Indica's . You can't make a Indica a sativa by harvesting early. Harvesting early just ruins the taste and you have less THC and CBN. Basically your just smoking undeveloped plant. Don't ever harvest early because that is a waste. Don't harvest late because that is a waste. It does not create a special product

It depends on how ripe the trichs are. Clear to cloudy means more head high, and cloudy to amber means more stoned. Hairs and hair colors have nothing to do with ripeness, i have some strains with red hairs at 4 weeks but arent ready for harvest until week 8

So hairs have absolutely nothing to do with the determination of harvesting?

What would be the outcome of a later harvest..? Same as an early harvest?...lower THC/CBN?

The "best" approach is to choose a strain that has the characteristics you want. Then harvest when 90% milky, 5% clear and 5% amber (just a tinge of amber will put you there).

You'll get the high based on the genetics (saliva/indica) and the potency based on having the highest THC possible within that strain.

But that's JMHO. Other people have different opinions. I think when you start growing, you'll form your own really quickly. One approach will just make more sense to you when you're in the reality of it. You can't reach that point just from reading.

Good luck!

The little crystals (trichomes) change from clear to milky to amber. It's ripe when they are mostly milky. The more trichs you let amber, the more CBD type stone you will feel.

So basically, yes the ripeness of the trichomes will effect the high like they are saying. Obviously it won't make an indica a sativa, but for lack of a better way to put it... that's kinda the effect. You judge the ripeness by the color of the trichomes... not the red hairs or how many weeks they've been flowering or anything like that.

Thanks for info. Yeah I wasn't trying to say a literal conversion into either a sativa/indica but more of the effects of each. So pay more attention to trichs and their cloudyness instead of hairs is what you're saying. Has there ever been a case you heard of or personally encountered where no hairs showed but the trichs were just right for harvesting?

Thanks for the info. I'm probably going to end up not growing...but cannabis information really keeps my attention. Plus I'd like to get a feel of how the bud was grown before I break it up for a blunt. 😃

Not really but i have had deep red hairs and the trichs were still clear. Still had a few weeks. There are also long flowering sativas that I hear the trichs never really get amber.
