hey everyone,

im trying to prepare for next season and discovered that the day lenth where i live gets to 12/12 on september 8th, my growing season is june-october, im around 47 degrees north in easteren canada so the growing seasons kinda short from what i understand, will regular plants grow fully here or will i have to go with a autoflowerng variety? what are some recomended strains?

any help is much appreciated,

Plant as early as possible after the last frost (lol does it ever stop snowing up there?) then harvest before the next frost/when they are ready.
^will give you the most light and will work just dandy my friend grew a tiny bud on a stick in his front yard behind next to a bush. If you plant later in the season they just wont get as big but will start to flower anyway.

If you are ordering strains get an outdoor variety for sure and look for one that says its resistant to cold.

thanks for the tips, we get about 3 1/2 months of 20 degree Celsius weather, but the light cycle gets to 12/12 about 3 and a half weeks before the first frost so unless it can flower at 13/11 im not sure if it will be finished before it dies from frost...........

i just sprouted a seed grown from a plant that resembled a pure afgani for mom and a male that was a hermie, full of nut sacks but a few white hairs on top....... it was 4 feet high grown under 1 13w cfl and was a light green indica with 2 inch wide fingers on the fan leaves...... anyway, both parents were bag seed, but the resulting seed sprouted, grew the cotyledon leaves and now it's getting purple 1 spike true leaves..... it's crazy because it is 3 days old and it appears to have little resin glands on the first leaf

i thought purple came into the plant later in life, like outside in the cold or when starting flower but this is right from the start, im including some pictures
