grow room tips.

I'm currently upgrading my grow area as different demands are put on it or better ideas come up. I just replaced my 6 light t5 veg lights (seen hanging) with an led my friend lent me. I have a 400w MH and interchangeable hps I was thinking of using but decided on the t5 and led setup due to electricity costs where I live since it's my first grow (almost $0.50 per kwh). Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I am planning on getting the Advanced Platinum 300w LED light to replace this one. Any suggestiong on that? The first pic shows what my grow closet usually looks like.

The secret with veg is putting small plants in with big plants. I get 6 large and several small plants under 1 4 foot T5 HO 4 bulb unit. I have 4 of them side by side but I switch sets of lights off when plants are small. My veg lights run year round so I stick in more plants than I need so I always have plants that have been vegging > 3 months.. A 3 month veg is a huge plant and very hard to stress in flower.

I cringe at the 4 week vegges that run their veg lights year round. Throw in some extra plants this time so next time your flowering 5 foot monsters having to lst your tops.
