grow room temps

Hey everyone, until now ive always been growing with cfl's but decided to buy a 400 watt hps light. I just set it up and can not keep the temps under 30 degress celcius which is about 85 fahrenheit. It dosnt hurt my hand when i put it under the light, its just the overall temp in my room. Just wondering if plants can have a proper life cycle in these temps.

Mine, unfortunately, are the same temps..It works but it is not optimal, cool it down if you can.

yea ive already tried everything and this is my only option, do plants grow slower or something or what happens in high temps?

try this. use frozen water bottles in the cooler instead of ice. they melt slower.Homemade air conditioner

as long as you're not going above 90F you should be fine. best temps would be between 75-80 F, but if 85 is what you got they'll do fine
