Grow Room Problems, + rep for help

so im using my closet as a grow room, straight cfls, been vegging for 5 weeks & flowering for over 1, no ventilation, no airflow(fan broke), let them out the room every water for some air, straight lights & water, i have 7 bagseeds, 2 in dwc, 5 in ffof 3 gal grow bags.

now heres where i have problems

1. Im in flowering and my temp around mid 70's , but my humidity is reading 60% i think its because of my dwc running in the same room

2. my failed attempt to cover my hydroton rocks & medium in my dwc is showing, brown slime all over my roots, although my plant looks really healthy on the outside & is exploding with growth, ph is in the right range, ppms are around 600-700, and temp is cool.

Now, the dwc plants i already transplanted from soil, i dont have enough money to buy a dehumidifer so i was thinking about transplanting them back into soil & ending the dwc for now but my roots are going crazy through the netpots..what do i do? am i going to lose these nice plants?..

my camera is acting shitty, but if you check my previous posts they should have pics of my grow room & etc..when i get the chance ill take new pics soon.

No ventilation or aifrlow means the plant is going to fill the room with oxygen and not have any co2 left over to produce anything. Go to walmart, buy a damn fan for $5.

The brown slime is root rot. Your plants are already dead. Sure, they are probably showing a bit green because thats the plant default color at this point, but its dying the roots are dead and it wont make it another 7 weeks to harvest.

You want to buy a humidifier but you have no air circulation? WTF? Spend your money on your growing environment is cool, but a suffocated plant wont need less humidity. By the way, your temperature and humidity are fine, they are in the optimal range. No humnidifier or dehumidifier will do anything useful for you.

Finally, you dont tranplant soil to hydro or hydro to soil.

Its your first grow. Dont take anything offensive, look to improve and keep asking questions if you need more help or clarification, and get that camera working

I sucessesfulky transplanted plants from hydro to soil. glad I did too. they were suffering in the DWC. once they hit soil they greened up fast.

Whats your rez temp? you need DWC water below 70F or that brown slime will do you in every time. 60% humidity is fine for veg, just need to drop it some before flowering more... ventilation, even just an regular fan is a must though bro and that should help drop your humidity a bit.

Ventilation is a must. I would do that asap...since fans are out of season I bet you can find them super cheap. If you get your ventilation down really good your humidity will go down as well. As you go longer into flower the humidity will rise if not taken care of.

If possible hand wash your roots in a bucket or something to get the slime off. And rinse your res, maybe cover up the areas getting light in with tape, or get inventive. Hygrozyme works wonders, but I know your broke so if it gets to bad chop rotted roots. It will help.

I would say its not the best idea to go back and forth so much, but I think your plants will be fine if you show some tender lovin during the stress. I have seen plants go from rockwool to soil, and I personally I have took soil and switched to rockwool with no problems.

Lol, im looking for my cam now, & im ALREADY a week into flowering, to be honest, i was surprised how much my plants grew with no fan & all of these things, they're like over a ft tall. ive had the slime for about a couple of days now, my net pot caps were raising because of the crazy root growth & me not putting the plant deep enough after transplant..my transplant deff sped the growth up alott & still is growing, i should post some before & after pics..idk my res temp(stepped on res thermo... )but the water is pretty cool

im using aqua shield by botanicare, idk if thats too much help tho, as for ventilation, this is a stealth grow, also in my closet, so i cant drill any holes, barely even leave the door open because of the damn stench, topped one too, these plants are bushy as helll...where is my camera..smh

ALL grows need ventilation. A stealth grow just means you dont tell people about it and hide it. Most stealth growers or closet growers ventilate up to an attic or something. It doesnt mean you have to leave the door open with a big fan.

f the smell is an issue (which is a bullshit excuse, your plant can not possibly smell in week one of flowering, what you are really smelling is stale air wanting to escape and re-mix with the atmosphere) -- but if smell IS an issue, for any stealth grow a single jar of Ona odor neutralizer left open in the closet will remove ANY inkling of smell in any strain with the amount of plants you have. Buy two jars if you like!

I use the Ona Pro blocks and just take the cap off and stick it behind a fan... works great!

Your number of plants at the size they are is already starting to get rough for "stealth". You might as well at least crack the damn door because if a cop searches he's going to check the closet anyways. I just don't advertise and I make it just fine having the door cracked with a big 4" inline fan running.

ya have to keep dwc cool. I had the same problem, I transplanted before i got as far as you did. good luck man. hope it all turns out ok.

yea i have a DWC and i need to keep the temps nice and low, mine is about 68, with a PH value of 5.6-5.8 i just out of fun pushed it to the limit and did 1400PPM lol and only got 2 leaves nut burn running this for almost a week, lol but i am back down to 900 then will got o about 650, but yea you can transplant from soil to Hydro, that is what i did, and well it looks GREAT. As said before you need a fan and what not even make your own CO2 since you are stealth. get a small bottle (pick what ever size u want) and put water sugar and yeast. You got CO2 remember CO2 weighs more than Air so stick it behind you fan (little higher than your fan) and you got CO2.

lol, when everyone walks in your room & says that it meet them at the door i dont think its a bullshit excuse, i already have a jar of ona in there, doesnt really help much, guess ill get 2 fans & make a ona/fabreeze bucket & one for air flow, when i move out i guess ill invest in a cheap grow tent
