Grow room height

What would be the minimum height of a ceiling for a grow room running 1000 watt DE HPS?

I guess that would depend on the total cubic feet of space you are working with not just the height. Would also depend on your ventilation and what your working with to keep things cool.

I get it done with 9 foot. Im pretty sure 8.5 would work also.

If you haven’t had a problem with heat before then I’m sure you’ll be fine with 8.5. You might also think about keeping your plant shorter if there is a large concern.

Was going to go with scrog ceiings are 8 ft
