Grow Room height

Hi All,

I am currently growing in a cab that measures 60Wx60Dx140H <2ft square 4 1/2 Ft High> under 100wCFL 64k's. The plants are doing really well and are growing about 2cm a day. The down side is the cab is not as stealth as I was hoping it would be. Not when the bigger fans are pulling through the carbon filter anyway. Plus it stands out like a sore thumb.

I would like to build a grow room under my house, I have the perfect place but the downside is I'm limited to a height of 80cm, or 32" from the floor to the bottom of the reflector once its in place. I am not limited by width or depth.

So I'm wondering given the limited hieght do you think it would be worth it? Could I use shallower wider pots to gain plant height? Top the plants and spread them out?
This is for personal use and as long as I get enough bud to do me between grows I'll be happy.
PS I intend to keep the Cab for Veg/cloning use.

I've seen it done with mini grows, computer tower, and if you have unlimited width and depth then it might be worth a try. I wouldnt expect very much with the limited height but it still could be fun.
