GROW QUESTION! HELP! Flouro Tubes for veg, HPS flower! HELP HELP HELP! ASAP!

I currently am growing my plants under a 1000 watt HPS. I have started to split the room so I can grow a veg area and a flower area without having them interact making things easier on me. Anyways I put my 400 watt HPS in my veg area but the temperature in that area gets way to hot. So my question is... How good would my bud be if I vegged under flourecent tubes and flowered under HPS? Anyone do this? INPUT PLEASE!!!!!!
 
I am doing the exact same thing, I have one room dedicated to buds with hips. The other room is a veg room and it's got basic fluros in there and it works great for the veg so I wouldn't think you should have a problem Also if you think heat is an issue get a fan and circulate the air and that will make them stronger and helps with the heat. Yeah, the only reason the heat is a problem is the 400 watter is closed off and its gets up to 90-92. I like it 75-85. If i used flouros the heat would be fine. How much do you yield per plant if you dont mind me asking?
 
I also do as MaryJaneDoe does. I veg under a single 4' t-5 flouro, and one 43 watt CFL per plant. This works out great for me, they get nice and bushy and grow real fast this way. He are pictures. Last picture is under the 1,00 watter.

I want to say about an ounce a foot tall plant. This is my first time with the hps so I am EXCITED!! Good Luck Lord Dangly Bits knows his shit and he might have been doing it longer so pick his mind
 
Ya. I have four tubes in two sockets. So two tubes per. How many plants started from clones could I do under those? Also, would it hurt my plants if i took them from under the 1000 watt hps and placed them under the flouros... it would still be 18/6. I am not changing it from flower back to veg just from an HPS to a flouro set up!

What kind of fluro tubes. I have a t-5 which is ment for growing plants. You can buy the tubes at your hydro store.
 
I think mine are t-12 and t-8. How much do the t-5 set up run? I got mine when I first started and didn't really know anything at that point, i dont know how they would grow a plant. Any info is thankful.

Where did you buy them at? Look closely at the tubes, do they give any data on them in print?
 
Damn, I am really needing to figure this out. So complicated. I am ready to flower some of my girls, but I want to continue vegging some and my clones, but if the flouros wont work i gotta figure something out. FRUSTRATION!
 
Flouro's work great for veg. Here's my current setup/experiment, pics of the bud are from my white rhinoXgod bud at day 17 of flowering, and yes it has been flowering under the flouro's the whole time. I must say, the trich production is amazing...started only 5 days into 12/12. This plant was from seed and was apox 2.5 months old when i started flowering. Enjoy!:joint::mrgreen:

what kind of flouros do you use? If it's t5 then its way different then the t12and t8 foxtures and bulbs i got.
 
10 fixtures or ten tubes? I only got two fixtures with four bulbs. Would that veg good ya think? How many plants/clones comfortably do you think? Thanks for input!
