grow house

well in the distant future i want to set up a self sufficient grow house using solar/wind/hydro depending on the land im leaning toward solar

i just want some ideas on where and how i should do this when i have the funds any ideas very welcome

Hey. Do you mind if i ask why you think solar and not wind?

I never understood this. Solar is low in winter, and non existant at night (10 hours?).
Where as wind is nearly 24/7 possible. Wouldnt this be drastically more power if a wind turbine is possible on site?

ideally you want somewhere windy and sunny, if you plan on running a lot of light then you will need an absolute shit load of panels and turbines,and it would probably be a good idea to get a backup generator just in case.

Yeah and unless your growing legally you are investing lots of money into a BIG risk. It could take years of growing to recoup the costs, so dont go getting busted. Scroggsy.
