BY3 is the results of a King Louis xiii bagseed I grew outdoors that got pollinated by wind and threw out like 15 seeds. Curious to see what grows from it. I sprouted 1, and will watch it close for herm!

Switching to 12/12 in 2 weeks and adding more 300w LED panels as I go. :weed:
Also attempting to create some feminized seeds from these beauties using Tiresias Mist.

How long they been veggin?

Anything written above can only be considered the rambling on of a belligerent old fool who has created a magical land in his mind where he is an amazing marijuana cultivator. all pictures and information have been stolen from the "worldwide web"

Veg in between 3-5weeks (clones and seed started at dif times). Skywalker, Master Bubba, and White Urkle are from clone while he rest from seed.
your humidity is high, can you keep it around 40% at lights off and light on when you flip to 12/12? I personally keep my humidity low even in veg to keep safe from powdery mildew.

I agree with Santa, lower humidity means lower chances of molds, and mildew.
Otherwise, your garden is looking good, keep it up!

Thanks for your input guys, I appreciate it. The humidity has been on my mind, so I make sure to give them all a neem spray every 7-10 days or so. I know I can't keep that up in flower though. Dehumidifier is on the list to do before flip!
Next week I plan on purchasing another tent, 4x8 for flowering. Because I scored a pack of 501st OG from Rare Dankness! The following week for sure getting a dehumidifier setup. I have a 600w HID setup with carbon filter and a 500 cfm fan to throw in it until I get more powerful and reputable LEDs. Or both.

62 isn't terrible. Should drop a bit as the plants start drinking faster. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops below 50 as they get bigger and the weather gets a bit drier. IMO spend the watts on more lighting before you throw in a dehumidifier.

terrible advice, humidity doesnt drop as plants get bigger, it increases!! weather won't get dryer for a long time around here, not sure where you live but anyway, ENVIRONMENT is MORE important than overall wattage of light...

and yes 62% is very bad, it might be ok if you have great ventilation while vegging but still have to watch out for mold, better play it safe and yes comes flower time 50+% RH is terrible and if you have any massive buds in the grow room, they will rot.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to GreenSanta again.

Sound advice right here...

I said it wasn't terrible, not good. If he has good ventilation, the humidity will drop with a bit more heat. Spring is already here in Cali. His plants are young and the slightly higher humidity is fine at that size. Shoot for 30-40 during flowering.

Wow, Gaius...just wow.

Nevermind the troll polluting your thread bud...

Vegetative Stage:

In this stage the RH can be 50-80%.*Now that your plants have entered their main growing phase the RH can be a lot more varied. This is because your plant will now have a much bigger surface area with which to transpire, meaning less stress is put on it through faster transpiration.

However, this does mean your plants can transpire at a much greater rate, be sure to keep an eye on your plants. If the levels of humidity drops below a safe level then your plants will transpire so rapidly that they run the risk of over fertilization from their fast uptake of nutrients drawn in from the soil.

Flowering Stage:

Once your cannabis is flowering you will want to consider dropping the RH greatly. This is in order to reduce the risk of the dreaded rot. You ideally want you grow room to have a relative humidity of 40-50% now.

Keeping track and controlling your grow rooms humidity is important if you want to really get the most out of your plants. It is another important factor that is usually overlooked by less experienced cultivators. Now that you have a better understanding of its impact you should be able to utilize the knowledge to improve the quality of your grow.

The plants might like 80% while in veg, but we are growing indoor here, in homes, not warehouses. Personally I am paranoid about mold in my house and I prefer slightly slower veg with low humidity.

still a lot of misleading information in this post... anyway, you did say it was your opinion so we will leave it at that !

Not misleading at all. I speak from personal experience. True other grow areas/setups may vary, but when my plants get bigger the media drys out a bit faster and the humidity in the room drops.

Run the HID instead of the led, problem solved. And you wouldnt need to buy more equipment. Or you could spend more money on a dehumidifier that would negate any power savings you are getting from the led.

I agree. Use a slightly hotter light with your watts instead of wasting them on powering a dehumidifier.

It all depends on your setup and the size of your garden.

It depends where you exhaust and where you intake. It was a problem for me growing with HIDs, my night RH would spike to 60, i had to have my exhaust fan on a timer, I couldnt do fresh air from outside 24-7 in the winter... I gotta say my temps and RH at lights on with HIDs were ideal with the cold air from outside. I wasnt using a dehum at the time because the lights were drying the environment enough but I did eventually get botratis (mold, bud rot) in my biggest colas from the high humidity spike when the lights were off.

Now with LEDs, I use fresh air from upstairs in the house and exhaust in the basement, I run 2 dehums 24-7. It helps keep the house warm, I dont have to spend a lot of money on heat.
