grow closet size

Ya those cfls will work for starting seeds off, but you will have to upgrade to either more/larger cfls, or a hid lighting system... Or led if you want to spend a bunch of money lol.

Those lights aren't going to be near enough past seedlings. But you sound like you know that :bigjoint:

Yeah im probably gonna get like four once they start to get bigger, then ill switch to four of whatever other kind i need once they begin to enter flowering

Or maybe three. Do u think three would be enough?

Ya later when they get root systems established and start growing leaves, your gonna want to add a nice T5 Floro Setup, Or a high Lumen output CFL. They have one at Home Depot or Lowes that puts out 2900 Lumens and only uses 65 watts. Bulbs almost the size of a head, you can get the bulb, cord attachment, reflector hood, all thats needed for it for around 20-30 bucks. If anything just get 2 of those and that should be more than enough. I recently got one of these to help with my seedlings, you can actually see it in a few pictures in my grow journal below. It's the one that looks like the 25 watt one your using but HUGE! lol, good luck man!

Man seriously how do y'all grow in such a small area? I got 2 in a 8x6 room and I'm touching all 4 walls! Only day 43 of flower

I have 40"×25"×60" to work with and i need to know if this is big enough for 2 plants, 2 CFLs, and a small oscilating fan
24"x84"x70" i have 10 cfls on individual fixtures, a oscillating tower fan, de-humidifier & 1 indica 3 weeks into flower touching both edges of my wooden 24" depth wall.
24" isnt enough for my single flowering indica. I now know 30"x30x90 is what i want for 1 plant. Atleast for me anyway

Here is the exact one I have and was talking about.
http://www.lowes.com/pd_46931-75774-L65TN_0__?productId=3197521

As for the other things, I;m not sure...
This was the best I could find for the sockets,
http://www.lowes.com/Search=light+s...051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=light+socket+cord#!

but the reflector hood came with the socket connector... So im not sure if they have it online or where to find it. Ive only been able to find these in store, and apparently it seems to be more expensive.. I got the whole thing for around 25-30 bucks and online the bulb itself is almost 30... So I would really recommend going to a lowes in store, ask a guy in Lighting department, He'll lead you right to all 3 of the items you need. Otherwise, I couldn't find the rest online.. Good luck to ya!

Personally I'm only using them for seedlings/clones. Once they get about 2 inches and get some leaves, I move them into the other side of my closet where they are under my 4 ft 4 tubed T5 setup that puts out 10k Lumens. However, for your case, Since it's just a small space, 2 of these should do very well for Veg, and you can always add more if needed. Although when flowering it's best to use an LED or HPS, however, in that tiny of a space, I'm not sure you'd be able to run one without either the plants overgrowing your space, or causing way to much heat. You can in fac tuse these CFL's for flowering, just turn them on only 12/12. However, flowering with CFL's is not the most efficient, and although, will successfully grow some good bud, the yield will dramatically play a part in this.. You will get way more yield off of a HPS Simply because it puts out way more lumens and it's a better light spectrum for flowering. Hope this helps! Just remmeber, more lumens = faster growth and better buds.
