Grow Cabinet Almost Done Please Give Opinions

Ok its almost done 5'6"high 6' long 2'8"deep with a cloning room that is 2' wide and 2'6"high...In the cloning chamber I will have 2-75 watt floros and the main compartment will have a 600 Watt digital Ballast with both HSP and MH lamps, air cooled 6 inch hood fan with carbon filter...Fan will be mounted above the cloning chamber on the bench part of the unit...Please give my your opinions before I finish this, will be complete within 1 week.:bigjoint: 600 Watt Electronic Lumatek Ballast, 600 Watt HPS & MH bulbs, 2 75 Watt Fluros for cloning chamber, 6'' air cooled enclosed hood, smoke detector, thermometer.....Will be adding charcoal filter, fan and 4'' infine fan and small oscillating fan

Hey Green just leave this as your main page and close down the others.....people will respond to you their are a lot of positive people here that will be glad to help you. this box should be great to get you a nice little stash.
 
I think it looks ok man, you should replace that reflective material though ( is it tinfoil?) if so those shiny gleams will create hotspots and burn holes in your girls :/ get some nice mylar or if your on a budget you can buy cheap windscreen covers for reflecting the sun for about £2 - $5 get the dimpled version if possible.
 
you can get way more than half a dwarf plant in their don't know what this guy is talking about!!! and you don't have to limit yourself to autoflowering strains just use some training techniques.....but i have to agree with him on the 600 hps issue i would go with somethin smaller.

It is Mylar.....
 
Yeah it is mylar, but you should smooth it out. You could always measure out each wall, get some Styrofoam and cut it to your measurements. Then just glue it on to the Styrofoam and make sure its smoothed out. And then your set to glue it to the walls. :)

Im going to run the light tonight and see what the temperature is in the morning, I still need to install the fans and ducting....

Well, 4 hours into it and the temperature hit 119, I think I can cool it substantialy with inline fans/exhaust and air moving through the hood? Cloning chamber was 89 but that would drop also....I think the 600 watt will be possible with a little extra money for venting and intake, but I think if i can get this box regulated with no problems. Hopefully it will be a serious "SOG" producer? But a serious a 400 Watt Ballast, I have to much money in this to chins out now....

YOu got that box tipped the wrong way. Turn it upright and you'll have way better luck with it. You do not have enough vert. See now thats an easy fix, all you gotta do it tip it over.
 
Hey green how long you think before you have everything completed? cant wait to see what you produce.
