grow box lighting?

so im building a small growbox(about 40cmx25cmx25cm intended for growing lowryder) and i was wandering if there is any lighting that doesnt need mains electricity but would be powerful enough for growing a plant. this is only a basic question because otherwise im gonna just use the mains
does anyone know what the least smelling strain of lowryder is?
