Grow a bud right out of the ground...

Is it possible to grow a bud right out of the ground? :-? I have heard some rumors of being able to do this. I've seen a few pictures too... But could they be real pictures? It sounds kinda strange and I don't know whether to believe it or not, so I posted this to see what you professionals think about it.:leaf:
 
not happening man, even if you do 12/12 from seed the plant has to mature before it flowers and with that much darkness, the plant is going to stretch like crazy. If you took a clone you could flower it basically right after it roots so I think that would be as close as you could get to "growing a bud right out of the ground".
 
The only way i think that this is possible is the second the seeds have cracked and the stem comes out with the seed leaves on make a black out tent and feed it flower this will give you bud but there will still be at least a week or so of veg. But honest dude why would you wanna do this you would be far better if the climate that you live in is good cannabis weather let it grow to around a foot tall then black it out for 12 hours but you will be better letting nature take it course then you will be talking pounds not ounces.just wait till the clocks go back and the plants will get around 12 hours or less.
 
I'm still confused about growing from 12/12. Everyone is saying different things and all I want to know is what's correct.
 
Seedlings do 24/0 or 18/6 -- I personally do 18/6 especially on clones. Ones you induce flowering is when you go on the 12/12 cycle.

I know all that. But I see pictures of buds growing right out of a pot. Is it a clone started on 12/12, or a clone started on 18/6, then to 12/12?
 
if you are so curious, try it out for yourself......everyone says different things so i wouldnt take any of it for fact until you try it out for your self to see if it works or not.

It's usually a clone flowered as soon as it has roots. Just look into any of the SoG threads.
 
I think the pictures you've seen might be of plants that have been trimmed and manicured while still in their pots, so it appears to be a stem of buds.
