Thought I’d join the community to increase my skills and also share my experiences as a medical grower and patient. I grow just for myself, trying to manage a condition causing unyielding, ridiculous pain. Cannabis is state-legal here, but prices keep rising locally while quality and choice keep declining (IMHO), and getting back to regular growing will help ensure consistency with my meds.
I’ve decided to switch from clones to seeds for a bit, for more options to hunt and acquire exactly what works best for me, and build up a small collection of mother plants. Currently growing one Cookie Monster (4 weeks) & two Trainwreck (3 weeks), both from Humboldt Seed Company, and also a seed I found in a top-shelf dispensary purchase labeled Kosher White (5 weeks). They are outdoors in soil, nothing fancy or complicated with the setup or nutes, currently all looking quite healthy. The main goal is to learn the growing habits of CM & TW, before I begin pheno-hunting with the rest of the seeds (15 each). However, KW is a lovely, strong plant so far, and female pre-flowers are just appearing, so I’m crossing my fingers I’ll get super lucky and it’ll be the unexpected first mother plant in my collection.
