Ive ordered from greenpoint and i had an issue with a pack of Ice Cream Punch, 4 seeds were dried out, and they replaced the pack no questions asked, and the replacements were good seeds.
I then attempted to try to germinate the pack of Purple Chem, and all but one successfully germinated and its a little runt of a plant. The other seeds popped open but then nothing else.

Among all the other seeds and strains from other breeders and even the other seeds from GP, i only had this germ issue with the Purple Chem.
Im on the fence of messaging them because i dont want to come off as taking advantage and ruin replacement packs for other growers.
So guess i just have to accept the loss, and that bums me out, because i really was excited about GP. But their prices for 6 fem seeds are expensive compared to everyone else, and they offer no freebies like all the other seed banks ive ordered from, and also germ issues.
I am very happy with the plants that are healthy from them so far, but its sucked out my excitment for GP unfortunately for this season. :-(

Did the Purple Chems have a root pop out when they opened?

If you used the same germination procedure you've used successfully for as long as you've been growing and they underperformed, I would let the vendor know about it. They should know how their products perform. Only the vendor and the breeder know how old the seeds were, if they were properly stored before they got to you, and if other growers have similar issues.

I just germd these the same way the other night, and boom! Diff seeds from diff vendor.
Only waiting for that last seed for 100% germ rate. So yeah youre right, i should let them know.

Never a germ issue with them, but their purple lineup was a hermie disaster. Im scared to buy anything else from them after that. Damn shame because they produced some great stuff before that.
That kinda goofy. Anyone can make mistake.

Same here, I have had several packs of their purple punch crosses herm on me, Catalina Wine Mixer is a foxtail quenn and have had good luck with their stardawg lineup, but those stretch to the sky and with my LED's am getting bleached tops. Currently looking for new supplier....

My issue with greenspoint or maybe just hybrids is you pop 6 seeds and they are all different genetics. No two are the same, last grow, one had a cal/mag deficiency, one hated being watered with the others and two others were showing nutrient burn even though I am using organic soil and never fertilized them....kinda turning me off of hybrids!!!!

Research Greenpoint.
They’ve been known (for the past decade) for posting fake pics to sell their strains, fake genetics, mixing up seeds, major hermie issues, and list goes on. When I see people growing Greenpoint i have a major smh moment. I don’t get why they chose Greenpoint..? So many better options. You’re better off growing bag seeds or buying seeds off of a rookie pollen chucker ☮

I have 4 of their mentos (fem) in mid flower right now, and just discovered today 3 of the 4 have hermied on me. I am by no means a master grower, but I've grown several dozen fem seeds from other reputable breeders and NEVER had any herm on me. Even back on my first grows, the no idea what I'm doing type days lol. Phenos were also pretty different from one another, 2 stretched crazy bad when I started to flower. One was fairly short and hella bushy but had toothpick branches, the other was pretty short initially and stretched like mad at the start of flower, little to no side/ lowers on that one either. Overall I am very disappointed in the herms though, kinda shit on my whole grow.. (just getting back into growing after it being legalized here)

I am curious if he still has his original stardawg stud or if he is working with some recreation or a different cut. Time will tell

Damn I ran there purple crash for a few rounds just fine. And grape jelly is going right now. I've maybe had 2 seeds out of 4 packs not germ. And all the feminized I pop seem to stay female.
Idk at $50 a pop average when they have sales, they seem like solid genetics.

Bloom seed co is the other breeder I'm about to have going

Also I see people complaining about each seed growing different from the same pack...... isn't this how seeds work different phenos of strains take on different traits of the parent plants?

Sorry screenshot from a video I took earlier

Exactly. Their seeds are just wack. Anyone on here can grow the seeds I make STRESS IT OUT as bad as you can and have light leaks and my strians will never EVER herm. I don’t play with hermie or any hermie traits. I don’t have to. Lots of verified strians all around me!!
