Greenleaf Megacrop + additives! How do you use yours?

So I am running low on my GH trio 3-part and decided to give greenleaf nutrients line-up. I decided to buy the megacrop and some additives they sell. I went with----

Megacrop v3 9-6-17
bud explosion PK boost 0-33-37
Sea-K kelp extract 0-0-15
Sweet candy 0-17-28 "carboload+plant enhancer"(pkboost?)

more info on here https://greenleafnutrients.com/shop/

I wanted to start a thread, so I could get a little feel of how to use these together. Even if you just use megacrop alone I'd love to know other peoples experience, good or bad.

My medium is coco-coir but I plan on using it in DWC later and outdoors in my soil garden

I picked some up as aell for my coco plants. They seem to be liking it!! My first try with dry nutes, like it so far.

If you use all of those simultaneously, you're going to be way too high with Phosphorus (P) and toxic levels of Potassium (K). You've two bottles that provide the same extra P & K, and a third that adds even more K.

Hell yeah. This is the feedback I am looking for

wondering what other people have done with these dry nutes for use, and maybe what else to help balance the ratios out. I noticed they are high in PK.

I usually do a 3-1-2 for veg and 2-1-3 for flower in soil. I am new with coco and know things are immediately available instead of things breaking down I would like to see someones experience with nutes similar to this and what they did to use each one the right way. If I have to get something high in N I'm all ears

thanks for the input yall! I felt the same way after reading the ratios

kelp-- helps reduce internode stretch (natural pgr?)
candy-- some sort of carbo load low p high K boost
explosion-- the classic PK boost-ish ratio

not sure when and where to use the PK boost. Never done it. Gonna prolly run megacrop until I am comfy with it then start trying additives

I add in my extra PK (as Monopotassium Phosphate) starting at week 2.5 after I put the plants into 12/12 (essentially as the stretch period is over/winding down). When I first started using it, I was going to use it only for a few weeks, but after P def started, decided to just use it throughout all of flower which I've been doing since.

Don't go overboard with it though. Less is more until you see how the plants react.

I've never done it I just don't know where to start I ordered a little of whatever to see how it would work but I always agree less is more with nutrients

It's quite easy to tell if you need to bump up the dose a slight bit. The leaves will start turning a purple/red colour. If it does this early-mid flower, you've got Phosphorus deficiency.

I haven't used any of the products you listed before, so I would recommend starting at 1/4 dose, and ensure the plants don't react negatively. After 2-3 waterings, bump it up to 1/2-3/4. Leave it at that until the plants tell you they need yet another bump... they may not.

After your first run with the stuff, you'll know for next time what worked, and you can just start at that level.

Here's a pic of healthy P deficiency, because the plant is pretty well done. I don't like to let them get this extreme though, but to each their own. If you start seeing this discoloration start during week six or earlier (anywhere on the plant, not just the top), you're not using enough of your bloom stuff (picture taken from https://www.cannabisconsulting.ca).

Are additives required to get great results with mega crop? I will use the 1 part for veg and the 2 part for flower. First time using these nutes.

They say to PH adjust your solution, use their Sweet Candy and Bud Explosion, and if you need more Nitrogen use CalMAg. I'm reading that it's a compete formula.

Mega shit is what you're using. Look at the products being delivered to market for our purposes the chemistry behind them, it's a no-brainer not to use GH. Enjoy your colloidial fertilizers smoking phosphoric acid.

No. Keep it simple.
Check out the dosage chart on the 2-part bag.

The 1-part is high in K. If you are in coco the sooner you go to 2-part the better, imo.
Figured the one part was good for veg and the 2 part for flower so I can tweak the ratio. Trying to keep it simple. Growing in a flood drain to res with expanded clay. Ph around 5.8 atm.

You're trolling aren't you.
Anyways if you need proof that it's GH in cannabis and it's long term exposure that causes brain damage just look at GH cannabis growers on youtube.
Certainly won't kill it mixing different nutrients. A+B will do it all.
