Hey All!
I have my seedlings in a 10' x 8' greenhouse in Southern California. Greenhouse is wood framed with the usual plastic UV film.
However, due to privacy concerns, it needed to be faced West and built close to our shed which blocks Southern exposure somewhat. So....
I would like to supplement the daytime light with LEDs. I am running a 17/7 schedule with 2 Morsen 80W LED Grow Bulbs, which apparently only use 20W of power (just found that out).
I don't feel like these are producing enough light as the seedlings are becoming a bit too lengthy, even when bringing the light closer in (~12"). I was hoping to even use these as supplemental lighting as the plant grows, but am now coming to the conclusion, these little lights just don't produce.
Sticking to a budget of around ~$200, could you suggest any options I can use as supplemental light in my greenhouse?
The layout of the 6 in-ground plants will be a U shape. So I was hoping to run either bulbs on each plant or a LED ballast over positioned on the Left and Right side of the U. Again, this is supplemental lighting during the winter/spring hours.
