Greenhouse seeds

Wondering about a few strains I received from a friend.

GH seeds Pure Kush
GH seeds Jack Herer
GH seeds lemon skunk

I've heard good things (my friend had no idea, hasn't grown them before).

Can anybody tell me anything specific? Is the kush worth growing?? Is their Jack Herer any good? Is the lemon skunk a good/heavy yielder?
 
i personally wouldn't grow any of them as i'm not a greenhouse fan.. pretty much greenhouse were once a good company years ago, but once their breeder, shanti left and sold out to arjan, they have gone down hill over the years.. arjan is not a breeder, but rather a salesman, and does a good job selling greenhouse seeds as something that they are not, good, lol..
if you want a good jack herer, get sensi seeds..

Thanks for the help I'd rather get real info than waste two or three months waiting to see some garbage. On a side note is the super lemon haze worth getting? I was thinking about ordering some seeds.
 
I have also not been impressed with the plants I have grown off Greenhouse recently (all feminised though, which always produce ugly, strange developing plants in my experience).

I have 5 from 5 sprouted from them just 3 weeks ago though, so 100%, 2 are fodder with the other three all being triploids! I will make a report shortly.

They are not growing that strong and even, apart from one of the triploids which is a really nice specimen of plant and I will definitely take cuttings off it.

I will go back to Sensi Seeds after this I think. They are the only bank I can vouch for these days
 
i'm not sure if i said this earlier or not, but if you want the good strains that greenhouse used to have, the ones that have won the cannabis cups and all, you have to go over to mr nice seeds, as shanti, one of the breeders at ghsc years ago, left in the mid 90s and sold his half of the company over to arjan...
when shanti left ghsc, he took his award winning plants with him over to mr nice, and arjan was left holding the pieces of what was once a great company.. now, not being a breeder, arjan did what he does best, and spent tons of money of the greenhouse name and trying to make them look like the co. they once were..
all of the cup winning strain are now sold over at mr nice seeds under slightly different names.. like white widow is now black widow, el nino is now el nina or something like, etc etc.. although arjan continues to sell his white widow, it's not the same mother or father plant that shanti used to make the cup winning strains as shanti took his mothers and fathers with him over to mns..
