What the hell? I haven't been here in a couple weeks and they closed one of my favorite threads. Is he going to stay around RIU? He is a very informative member.

I hear you, one of my favorite threads and posters. It's sad that one troll can come in and screw things up so much. I have the troll blocked and don't even know or care if he is around. I have spent far less time on this forum in the led section since the mods here locked GreenGenes thread...

maybe its because he was using someone elses name? greengenes died a few years back he made the IBL Cherry Bomb from an old cut of maui back in 1979, maybe someone was mad he took his name lol IDK man just high and sayin shit lol

GG still posts on youtube and participates in the friday roundtables if you want to follow what hes doing. GG/gmau5 and a half dozen others are doing a community pheno hunt with ocean grown's dark plasma right now. Vader was talking about opening this up on a larger scale and offering up beans to everybody for next to nothing next time.

with a community effort like that, genetic selection will really leapfrog quickly

I do follow GreenGenes on YouTube but like the interaction here also. He didn't have much patience for cry baby bull shit and I respect that very much. Now days we spend far to long holding the weakest links hand when some stiff words, a kick in the ass and back at it would be far better and helpful.

I hear you, just wish mods would deal with the one problem poster verses shutting down a couple year long thread. Dose GG have a fuse on the short side, yes he dose. The positive far out shines any perceived negative with GG or his thread...

Giving a fudge about content is the people that care about content not RIU....

that is not the business model, why is it free? because page views garner ad share which generates revenue. If you complain and bitch and it attracts more page views leading to more revenue, it will probably be static as any theorem.

thats the problem riu isn't here for the community, but we can be here regardless....it is a belief not necessarily action all the time too...

long story short, complaining about rIU is futile, for they dont give a fucketh. Honestly, and when engaged they will ad hominem you to do death on why they Can't do it.

I think he was good at both. At no point did he hide that he was selling a product. At one point, I asked for some additional advice for the 200w DIY bar he has on youtube in private messages, and he answered without any problems or anything to benefit from, despite my questions probably being silly. He was probably more than anything bothered by the hipocricy of the site, that they wouldnt really admin his thread sincce he wasnt a sponsor, and that stuff like hyroots issue regarding liberty of speech was blatantly shut down....

Same thing he told me.

Keep in mind that the vendor in question claimed to have safety certifications that weren't obtained. Regardless of who you are, that is basic fraud.
