Green slime on soil

Using FF Ocean Forest, about 3 weeks into cloning one of the clones developed a green film covering the soil and the plant is starting to look really sick, yellowing at the edges of all leaves. i just gave it first shot of fertilizer FF Grow Big about a week ago and problem showed up after, any suggestions or thoughts?

No need to feed a clone that small in OF soil. Try some light warr for clones the OF is strong.. I find the same green film on my soil tops after a couple weeks in my cloning cups doesnt seem to hurt anything.

The green slime sounds like algea growth on the top of your soil. Not a big deal but it will steal nutrients from your plants.

I have algae in the inside of my biggest plants container as it is clear and I'm a newb and didn't know algae would grow if exposed to light and moist conditions... All I did is wrap it with a towel to block light and it hasn't grown anymore.
