green lights to use during dark hours??

would these be ok? would incandescent spray painted green work as well?

have alot of work to do and now the day light savings just made me lose an hour of lights on time after work.

I've heard much debate on this but nothing scientific that to me was conclusive. I'm confident a green led is ok because it is emitting greenlight. But the bulbs are just painted glass which is different, plus they put out far more light. Bottom line, I ordered 2 flashlights with green leds from dealextreme.com and use only those. Warning - prices are great, quality is great and even free shipping, but they take a long time to come from HK.

green led's for sure... hell i use the cheap little keychain ones you get a walmart for like 5$

anyone else ever just use a green light??
