Green House Seed co... of these 3 strains which have LESS ODOR during flowering???

I am hoping yield would be significantly more being done SCROG method, but I don't expect by much. LS still sounds more than worth a go, and being that this is soley for personal stash it's quite okay if its not a HUGE yield, but atleast above average and decent would be good enough for me.

Did any of you TOP your plants? And does LS respond well being topped?

Mared Juwan... Congrats on keeping your LS strain going, sounds like its def one of your favs of GHS strains. And if you tell me that even though some of the others you grew yeilded much more than LS, but LS shined out above the rest..... that's good enough for me! I've been tempted to do LS for a while now more than any of the others because of the feedback on smell, taste, and potency. Though higher yeilding stuff would be nice, that will come later on. Nice pics btw, saw them in your other threads.

Patience shouldn't be too bad for me, I know SCROG'ing is going to require me to have it anyways for a good solid grow.

Yea I just went in to smell the Lemon Skunk I am about to chop down (so the stinkiest it will get). It smells like vanilla apple candy. It is also the most potent of the GHS strains I tried. So since you are looking for a potent bud which doesn't smell dank or skunky I think it is a very good choice. Also you will find that the strains which produce the best quality bud usually yield the least. The only other two strains I've grown which were more potent than LS yielded even less. The 10+ other strains yielded more but were bland in comparison. Good luck with the SCROG, it should work out if done right. The branches will need support one way or another. You just have to remember she'll stretch like crazy in the first 3-4 weeks of flower.

I took some more pics so you know better what to expect yield-wise. This one still has a little more growing to do but it gives you an idea. I don't know if you plan to scrog from seed but I think doing it from clones would be way better. I flowered this one when it was like six inches tall and you see how tall it got. The seed plant was even taller.

RELATED SIDE BAR: I had mentioned to Brick Top elsewhere that I regretted the decision I made to quit cloning my Lemon Skunk. Well happy news, I cut a branch off the last remaining LS plant when it was at day 34 flower and I actually got it to root. So this strain will continue to be a part of my garden:mrgreen:
Day 34....LOL.....fair play man.....good to know it can still be done so late.

This thread is real interesting actually. Not finished reading it yet either and you guys know your shit, mared and brick.

I'm just interested cos I'm growing GHS TW, never smoked it or grown it before. I hope I have a diesely one, out of my 3 from seed.

I'm also growing GHS, Super Silver Haze, but that is a no brainer for me. Smoked it loads in The Netherlands and know exactly what I hope to expect!

Sounds awesome. I actually had a SSH seed I tried to grow but it never sprouted. I have four more seeds of GHS hazes from that second mix pack which I haven't yet grown. Maybe Brick Top knows more about the GHS hazes. He generally prefers sativas from what I gather.

yes mate, I remember now. You said that in my journal. The SSH are not as stretchy as I was expecting, one of them is, but the other 2 are quite squat. In terms of growth and vigour, the TW is winning so far.

Awesome bud porn man! Hope mine will eventually look as good as yours. Those are really impressive looking quality buds. I sure hope she throws out alot more side branching, from your pics it doesn't look like it. I also need to find out if she does well being topped. It's going to be some serious jungle warfare under the screen before I even let them start poking up above the screen for flowering, her rate of growth and stretch is going to be a nice challenge.

Unfortunately, I may be starting the SCROG with feminized seeds, though I do prefer clones. I'm trying to get a harvest during winter because of certain circumstances and time restrictions. Not sure if I'd have enough time to start out with mother plants, then grow from clones. I will however take some clones if possible of the plants under the screen, and try sexing them in another room. I'm still learning the best ways to go about all of this, so I'm just thinking of different ideas and the best to go with.
