Green CFL during flower?

I used a green cfl light in my room. Without describing my room more. I did have one plant produce one seed, but besides that. There were multiple violations into the room during the dark period. Fine MNS genetics to take that. I think it was a freak to put out one seed. If it had affected the room that bad. I think it woulod have been more than just one seed tucked away in a bud. Hi Ronin!

I use a green light at night time only in case I got a little something to do in the room!

My advise will be to use a low wattage green light like 25 watts max!

It will give you some light but not enough to work comfortably under the plants!
I always work in SOG so it hard for me to see with the green light at the ground level!

I find this Green Eye LED Flashlight could be a good solution to get some light under the plant to work at the ground level!

Thanks guys.

I will be putting one, or two if one isn't enough to see, 13 watt green CFL in the ceiling fixture. It wouldn't be used when I am training or pruning or things of a delicate nature. They would be used for watering and feeding when I have been too busy to get to them during their day time.

I will give it a go. Hell, we used to paint bulbs green to work at night with back in the day, I am betting these will be just fine. I am willing to be the Guinea Pig.

been useing one for 3 years and seen no issue , i dont use or need it offtin though and never for more then about 5 mins

imo they are fine to use

I have good eyesight. I am unsure of the wattage of the green cfl I have, but 13 sounds right. That is enough for me to see the plants. Water them, and look them over if needed. I was pleased with it. As I had it put in before the grow for the very reasons you mentioned. Be well friend...Ns
