could anyone tell me why my plants only grew to about 1.5' tall? are they doing ok for 4 weeks of 12/12? any questions, comments, help, etc. more than welcome.

They are that tall because of the amount of time you vegged. Next time veg longer and they will be bigger
What watt light are you using?

i vegged for 6 weeks. i think it may be heat stress which caused them to dwarf. perhaps this?

i have them under 800 w hps. 400 per 4 plants.

How tall were they when you flipped to flower?
They should double or triple their size on flowering

they have grown about 8 inches since flower. my best guess is that i just dont have a good way to circulate air or keep the temps down where i am growing them. can that cause them to dwarf? and, if so, should i expect the buds to stay small or will they bulk up and produce normal size buds. the temps now average between 80-85 F.

r they auto or reg flowering period cuz autos run 18 6 there whole life cycle

i have other gws, ls, and rd going at another location that are close to 3x the size of my dwarfs. the lemon skunk there is super.

these are my other plants: great white shark, lemon skunk, and santa maria. much bigger than the others. sorry for the poor color, the hps just zaps the green when you take photos. comments and/or advice welcome.

Baffled! My temps are around the same. With a sealed room. No exuast. Was ur timer working properly100% of the time? Power outage, light leek? Somthin stunted them.

fditty, thanks for addressing my question man. it may have been the lights, however, that was only an issue for one week. the dwarf issue was illustrated all throughout the veg too and at that time there was no issue with light. i do have one more idea. my pots are only filled up about 2/3 of the way. this only leaves about 10" for root depth. but the diameter of the pots is rather large.

you can see the gws and ls in a grow tent i have going - completely different. the great whites were taller than my "dwarfs" after 3 weeks of veg. i am ok with the size of those little babies on the condition that the buds swell up decent. time will tell.

The might be root bound. If all conditions were right, they may just not be able to grow any furthur. Just a thought... Good luck! Still looks like great smoke regardless. Just not the yield ur lookin for theres always more seeds! Smoke up, cause this shit keeps growin...
