Hello, RIU!! and welcome to my very first grow journal! Here are the specs:

Strain: Grape Ape x Sweet Pea (self crossed from G.A. female and S.P male)
Space: 1x1x2 cab
Lights: 76 watts 2700k cfl
Medium: reused MG moisture control. I want to switch to coco if i can.
Method: SCROG
Ventilation: 2 12v cpu fans (keep cfls cool to the touch)

Thats about all i can think of to say about it. I want to switch to coco soon but i need you all to kind of answer a few questions i have. First, if i put dolomite lime in with the coco (1tsp. per gallon of coco) can I use just soil nutes as long as my ph is good? Second, will i see noticeably better results when growing in coco? Last, what is a good gram per watt ratio to shoot for. In flower i will have 100+ watts on her.

Any comments or concerns are welcome and highly encouraged as this is my second grow and first indoor. BTW this IS a legal California mmj grow so other Cali growers are encouraged to tell me about good places to get supplies in South Cali. Lastly I'm on a very low budget as the government shutdown put me out of work and even with the temporary agreement, I'm permanently unemployed.

FIRST UPDATE!!! :weed:
10-19 Leslie (2).jpg10-19 Leslie (3).jpg10-19 Leslie (4).jpg10-19 Leslie.jpg

Throughout the grow I will have micro shots as a sort of study as to when the cannabis plant actually starts producing resin. I can already see what appears to be trichomes in the micro shot but not exactly positive. You'll notice I keep the lights 2 inches away at all times. This is the general consensus that I had found on RIU. Any and all comments welcome.

HEY ALL!!! NEW UPDATE!!! NO PICS :(
Hey guys not much has changed but one thing I have noticed is that the leaves are kind of drooping but I watered her so maybe it'll heal itself. I waited until the dirt was fairly dry to water. The leaves are also sort of folded up and the center of the leaves are a purple color. Sorry I for have pics but I promise I'll get them up tomorrow. Hopefully you'll see what I'm saying and be able to help me out. Thanks guys!

Peace, love, and pot,
S. Cerva
