I got thrips. how much neem oil and or dish soap per gallon of water do i use for a foliar spray. ive been searching and everyone uses very different ratios. can someone tell me about how much to use. this will be my first application to this harvest and i figure i will have to apply it for about 2 weeks to totally eliminate them. i used neem oil before but it was years ago. thanks. and im positive its thrips, sorry no for no pics

thanks, im about to make a run to my local hydro store. i will see what all they have. i just cant believe i discovered this right before i was about to switch to flower. i heard you are not suppose to spray neem oil during flowering, so now i have to vegetate these guys longer which will cause space issues for me. if anyone can dispute that, let me know because i would like to flip them tomorrow. im also going to pick up some yellow sticky pads,....should have got them from the beginning

i would have bet my name on it that nobody had an agreed amount lol. my hydro store guy said an oz per gallon of water. im going to trust that I guess. i'll tell you guys what a good amount is i guess lol

Sorry, I got a little cranky there. But I could really use some advice asap. I bought captain Jack's deadbug (they didn't have that exact type of bug killer you sugessted) and some yellow sticky pads. Can I still flip my plants and still spray the deadbug. Right now they are only on the bottom fan leaves that I can tell. Here's why I need to flip soon....running out of height space.

jacks deadbug is a bacteria? my hydro shop guy says its what he uses, and would use it over neem oil. neem oil was what i entended to get, until i was talked out of it ha. damnit
and thanks for the neem oil ratio. apparently my hydro guy led me wrong in multiple ways of how to go about these thrips. im taking this jacks crap back to the store and getting something different, because you're right. its not even recommended for indoor use! thank you very much!!!!

Like Monterey, the Jacks Deadbug contains spinosad.

Your hydro guy should know that.

Monterey BT contains a bacteria.
Alternating spinosad one week, BT the next was my outdoor preventative routine.
yea, he was really stoned. it was right before they were closing. i think he just was trying to wrap up the day.

what do you folks think about mammoth's insecticide? i think its a fairly new product.

Jack's is a bacteria... I would see no issues flipping now. You've got a week or more of stretch to get thru. Neem next time is 1tbl/gal. An ounce per gallon will kill your plant by smothering it.

this is my first time using neem 100%neem oil. i just made up 1 quart. I took your advice on the ratio and adjusted the amount for just one quart (3/4 tsp per quart) as i hear this stuff goes bad within a day and you need to make a new batch.
