I tried placing an order just a few minutes ago and the website said I could not because credit card payments were not allowed from my country. I have ordered quite a bit and never had an issue before. Any chance it was a mistake or does the company no longer take credit cards from the US?
We are not taking credit cards from outside the UK at this time.
Not our doing - blame the crooked, greedy banking system.

Ok, do you expect to start taking cards again in future? If not what is the address to send cash payments to?
You'll get an address on the instructions that come in an email after you order - the confirmation email.

You will get a 15% discount for paying cash plus some free seeds.
If you do send cash, the best thing to do is mail it using registered international mail - it will cost about $17, but you'll know that we received your payment.

If you would like to try bitcoins - it's a 20% discount plus free seeds - that's what I recommend.
It's fast and they're not hard to get or use. It might take a little time to setup the first time, but it's really not that bad.

Before anyone gets nervous, if you pay attention to seedbanks, you may have noticed that almost every single one has had to drop card processing or restrict them temporarily, and that's because it's against banking rules for them to work with cannabis companies.
It's the same reason dispensaries in legal states can't take credit cards.

When you get caught, the penalty is closing the account plus a fine of at least 25K - I have seen fines as high as 100K, and that's enough to put someone out of business. It's a lot of risk, and even without fines, they're very expensive for us to use.

I can't say exactly what's happened in this specific case, and I don't know when or if we'll open cards back up to international customers.

It's not a decision that anyone made lightly.

Guys - I'm going to duck out of here if I can for a few days.

Things aren't good right now with my son, and the more I mention I'm having a hard time, the more problems I seem to attract.

Anyone with an issue should contact our regular customer service department for help.

I don't know who I am more frustrated with, Gorrilla seed bank or usps. I placed a order with gorilla via Bitcoin payment and it didn't get sent until a week later. Let me mention though that I got a message from customer service the next day, after I ordered. They asked if I wanted to switch seeds because there was an issue with the one I selected and it would be a week before they got it into stock. I accepted their offer for the seed (a 9 dollar extra value at no cost to me) but... I never heard back from the Gorrilla CS after that. 1 week later I finally received an e-mail stating that my package had shipped. (Sigh)...that's just part of the problem I have with the Gorrilla. I also contacted customer service because I was suppose to get a free critical seed with my Order, I am certain I spent enough but I was told it would have popped up automatically on the order. Well it didn't! There was an error. I spent $102 and I put orders together less than that and qualified for the seed. Someone finally contacted me about my issues. She said she wanted to send me what I was due. She said she was going to send me the seed they were going to upgrade my other seed to and the seed I should have gotten with my order. Guess what! Haven't heard from them since, so I don't know if she ever kept her word or not. Ok back to my original package that finally got sent a week longer than it should have. I know this is out of there hands but usps lost my package! It finally arrived in my town and I expected to receive it Tuesday. It never arrived. The tracking said it had been delivered to an agent. So I called my post office and the said they accidentally dropped the package off at an airforce base by my house and they would retrieve it and call me or bring it to me the next day. Well that was Tuesday and it is now Friday. Neither of those things happened. In fact, they are now telling me that they can't find my package. Anyway the worst thing about the Gorrillas CS. Is that it is Friday and they will be closed for 2 days. And the only time I can keep consistent contact with CS is if I stay up all night to do so m-f, otherwise It will be a one email a day until the problem is solved. Who knows how long this problem is going to take to resolve. My advice for people thinking about using Gorrilla Seed Bank as a service, DONT! Find another one you will save yourself a lot of head ach.

I'm sorry it took so long to ship, and I've already written this up to review all of t with management.
If you purchased our stealth guarantee, you're covered for a reship for the lost shipping.

I was covering customer service for a week while people were on holiday & I think I remember your ticket.
It's not a matter of me not keeping my promise - I don't work on site, so I have to give other people a list of things to do & rely on them to follow through. I'll double check to make sure that has been shipped out, or gets shipped out next week.

The office does take off on the weekends most of the time - but I check this forum pretty much 24/7/365 - even when I know I should take a break.
If you'd like to PM me your order number, I can verify that you are covered for the lost shipment & get them working on this first thing Monday.

I will mention that my son has been in the hospital for over a week, and he is scheduled to be released on Monday. I won't forget to keep reminding them, but I'm not going to be on top of them as much as I normally would be. He's on an involuntary hold at the psychiatric hospital and while he's better, I don't know how much time I'll be working for the next few weeks.

just to let people know my latest experience. i placed an order on aug 20th. my card WAS charged and i got an email saying that what i ordered was out of stock. I was told i could wait up to a week or choose something different so i opted to wait. aug 25 the order status switched to complete and a tracking # was given. well after a week with no tracking details i contact gorilla via email. i get a response saying that there was a problem when the tracking info was downloaded not to worry my package was on its way. Yesterday i recieve an email saying that they are having problems with card payments that the order is being refunded and the order is still open so i can use bank transfer or bitcoin and recieve a discount and additional free seeds. my main problem with this is my card was charged the full amount and i was told there was just a problem with the tracking # and my package was on its way. i dont understand why i have to be refunded when the money was already recieved. i know your son is not doing great and you have a lot on your plate right now and you are in my thoughts i dont expect you to go out of your way right now to deal with this. i will just have to wait and hopefully my money is refunded i just wanted to share my experience with others. ive made two orders and had bad experiences with both. p.s ive been trying to call the us # about every day and never get an answer i even left a message and never got a response. I cant call the uk number because i dont have international caling

as everyone has stated sherry was great i recieved a pm with a very good explanation of what happened to my order. im suprised found the the time with what is going on right now i will just have to try to figure out how this bitcoin thing works

bitcoin isn't so bad didn't take long to setup and my extra bitcoins I had left over has been accumulating more money from Bitcoin price raises. I love Bitcoin for ordering.

I've already PM'd you & sent an email to our customer service team telling them to reship and add some extra freebies in there for you - and closed your ticket in the system.

Just get with me if you have any more problems, and I'll clear them up for you. They'll probably ship sometime this week - if not, let me know.

As an update on my son, he's supposed to be coming home tomorrow.
He's a lot better than when he went in 11 days ago, but not completely better.
That's normal though. The paranoia seems to be gone, but the fixed delusions are still there, and they may take months to go away completely - or they may always be there in the back of his mind.

It might also help if he gets home where he can get some peace, quiet & decent sleep. It's so loud in there, and someone's always having an outburst of some type. He's very quiet - not the outburst kind of person - so it's been very hard for him.

Oh my, I do hope he gets better! Perhaps once he is back home, he will feel like he is in his safe place. I will certainly stay active on this forum, and will let you know if I encounter any issues.

I recently placed an order with Gorilla. Had absolutely no hassle with the order or time it took to ship. Thought it was awesome. The problem in my case had nothing to do with Gorilla. It's the damn USPS. It made it to customs in ISC Chicago and that's where it has been for almost a week now. My research on this ISC is that pretty much everything that ends up there is severely delayed or never leaves or gets lost. I got the guaranteed delivery, so if it doesn't show in a months time from the ship date I'll try again. I hope soon I'll be able to say something positive about the seeds themselves if they ever reach me lol

Yeah fuck usps. They didn't do the same thing to me but they took the package to a Air Force base near my house by accident, then they lost it... But because of gorillas outstanding customer service I already have a new shipment coming my way and they hooked it up with a bunch of awesome seeds for free. The gorilla is a great Seed bank, they will go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied. They truly do care about their customers, I would not hesitate ordering from them again though. Sherry if you're reading this, you're awesome and you are the main foundation of your company thank you again!
