Pic below is as of today.
Lights - 18/6
temp - 78
R/H - 50%
Fans - 4 6inch monkey fans

Plants are currently in 1 gallon pots filled with Foxfarm ocean soil. Only getting tapwater ppm 200 and ph 5.6. Was planning on using Foxfarm liquid nutrients. Any advice or comments on what I’m doing and or how room is set up is greatly appreciated! Will keep this updated.

If you got the ppm meter too id do two tests.

Two parts water to one part soil.
Stir vigorously then test ph and ec.
Be sure to clean your ph probe good after.

This will give us a good base to advise furher. Foxfarm is good but known to be variable out of the bag.

Also known to carry thrips often enough i always get a bottle of monteray garden spray to do a soil drench just to be safe. If you do this wait a few weeks till they are bigger cuz youll soak the whole pot.

As others said, 6.5 pH for soil is ideal.

I like 18/6 light for veg is ideal, I think it helps the plants to have that 6 hours off and I don't notice a significant growth increase with the extra 6 hours, definitely not enough to warrant the electricity.

GG4 is a great strain. Love mine.

The difference between 18-6 and 24-0 veg is not so much about getting them big faster. It is a lot about keeping your plant short and spreading in the space.

The darkness causes a lot of the stretch. This grow is the first i ran 24-0 veg lights and i will do it every time i am working with a short tent or just want to have clearance.

The grow so short you can't scrog them. But it looks like a hedge. This GG4 is 8 inches tall and was flipped to 12 12 lighting this morning.

It is more expensive to run 24-0 sort of...You run your lights at lower intensity for most of the veg so its not so much. I pay 21 a month to run 550 watts (based on a 16 week grow of 6 week veg and 10 week flower)

24 not beneficial plant needs the dark cycle plant veged under 18 on 6 off will out perform a plant veged under 24 in flower due to the fact that 18 on 6 off produces better root mass dark needed for a good root system the roots go to work in the night cycle a clone roots better with dark cycle also they need it fact

Raise the ph between 6.2-6.8. 5.6 is far to low for soil
^ do this immediately! 6.5 is best

18/6

Consider GH Flora Trio instead of fox farm; I've heard issues more frequently with the Fox Farm nutrients

Also just one light at half power would be plenty for those seedlings for now

I think perfection would be about 3 weeks of 24-0 veg then 3 weeks of 18-6 then 12-12 at flower. Next round i will try 21/3 and see how that goes. In my 7 foot tent it doesnt matter but in the 5 foot tent i have 1 foot of pot, 1 foot of light space needed (clearance) leaving 3 feet of total growth. Flip them at 12 inches and bend as needed.

two 600 watt MH lights are way too much intensity for seedlings. Just a small flourescent light I'd use till the plant growth gets a bit vigorous.

shock is not good for any plant, a dramatic increase of light on a plant just popping out from seed is a bit of a shock.

Thanks for the info. I may drop it down to 1 light at 50%.
