Hey there advanced Marijuana growers lol and those less advanced 2! Anyway I am about to start buding my plant, with sex still undetermined, and I wanted to make a clone in case "it" will turn out to be a female. Is the branch i selected big enough?

looks alil small but it can be done. Why dont you take a clone, let it get established and flower it to determine its sex. Then you will know if that is you mother. And when you find out it is a female(hopefully) you just take new clones and vegg them to desired height then flower. You will have a endless supply for female clones.

I know I should do that but I really want to smoke it as soon as possible...:weed: lol anyway thanks man, I will wait a bit longer.

If you haven't cloned before, it's probably better to take more than one, to improve your odds of success.

What cloning method are you planning to use?

Umm i dont really know lol I was going to simply cut it, dip it in the cloning solution, put it in the cube, keep directly under lights, no cover and just spray some water on them... which method is that eh? :P

PS My question was more like: how many cuttings can I take out of single plant at once?

your alright! heres mine right now there probably a little smaller than yours. onlty one didn't make it which is normal... so take 2

yes trim the leaves and set in indirect light... so the plants concentrates its energy in root production...after 2 weeks take the dome lid off to promote harding off and then its really survival of the fittest and set in normal light i use T-5 flouro's

Lol, I get ya. I would personally advise a humidity dome over them to keep them moist, but others have had better success without a dome, so it's up to you to figure out what works for you.

You can take as many cuttings as you like, as long as they are big enough to be viable. I keep mother plants, and regularly cut them back to the point of just a couple of small branches and leaves. They grow back strong and bushy in a very short time. :-P

Im off for tonight, thanks for all the tips. Im gonna smoke a fat one for the people that took their time to gimme some pointers, peace!

i tried to beat around the bush by not getting one with no luck... and since i was determined to have a perp grow i bought this setup... pic... it ran me 40.00 usd but is worth every penny... cloning isn't a big deal now i just chop dip stick 98% success in rapid rooters but i've used peat pucks with great success and soil with ok success i was in a pinch
