what is a good brand of soil at either of these locations if anyone knows? thanks, im not looking to mix ingredients, just a bag i can get and start with

Yep been told about that one too but neither one around me carry that.Just junk ass scotts or mir/grow.Only palce I can find good soil is the hydro store 40 miles away.Sucks

I think you can presoak you miracle grow to get rid of the time release nutes. I'm not sure the exact procedure, I seen it on riu somewhere. I think you just keep it super wet for a couple days then flush it out good before you use it. You might also want to sterilize, mg is known for gnats. And add perlite, maybe some other stuff, check the organics section for additives.

Good luck finding anything at Home Depot or Walmart this time of year. I looked last weekend and all they had was Miracle Grow.

My home depot and walmart are stocking up on garden supplies already. They have jiffy pucks and starter trays now. Maybe wait a week and they should have more soil and garden supplies in stock.

They will carry it in the spring...It is an outside giant bag.
