good seeds

i like to drop the seeds in a cup of distilled water. poke em every once and awhile until they sink, they almost always crack the next day

I get my 16oz solo cup, fill it with soil. Either FFOF or MG, soak the soil thoroughly and then put the see in about 1/4" deep and cover. put it under my flourescent veg lights with the timer already on 18/6. With good seeds they are above ground with the leafs open within 72 hours. The light helps keep the black soil warm to help the seed germinate and once they pop they get the light they need to grow on the cycle they will have until flowering.

do you germinate out in the open or under a hunidity dome?

I do not use domes. I check the cups once a day and make sure the top is still a little moist, not wet. If the top of the soil is drying I just use my mister and mist to get the top a little moist again.

you dampen the soil before using the seed a little right? I assume not TOO much. Do you keep them in the dark or in the light?

read my first post again.

I have drainage holes in the bottoms of the cups. I soak the soil until quite a bit of water has drained out the bottom, that way the soil is thoroughly soaked.

and as I said in my first post, I put them under my flourescent veg lights with the timer already set at 18/6. The light on the soil helps keep the soil warm.
