I know there is a tutorial on harvesting and drying but just curious on others methods...I heard something like laying flat on new paper and to turn every couple of hours..but what are some methods to get that dank look? Some purps that I have bought looks like balls on a stick and the leaves hug the bud..how do these people achieve that bag appeal? Post your methods and others you heard of...

Ive never heard of turning the buds over a newspaper for hours but from what i know it would be unwise to do and would diminish the quality of the herb everytime you handled it. not to mention the blackink wanting to transfer to the sticky resin. and as far as the tight little balls running up the branch this has nothing to do with harvest and curing but everything to do with genetics. most indica or indica dominant purples that i know of form hard little grape like buds running up the stem. this is why purple is sometimes reffered to as grapes. purple kush and purple urkle like to grow like that in my experience. if you want that dank look then grow it well and handle it as little as possible when you are finishing her up.

Thanks for the reply..so hang drying and jar curing is basically all there is to it? I thought there would be more advanced methods...I guess simple is better...

yup simple is better. im sure there are a few tricks that can make some pretendo look like some super, but for the most part as long as its grown free of molds, rot and diseases the finished product will look great as long as the basic drying techniques are followed
