Im not sure you can clean a surface and expect it to stay bacteria free for a whole grow, you can clean and simply not make the conditions which make bacteria want to multiply

As for disinfecting, most household cleaning products advertise bacterial effectiveness, just grab one that looks fancy and has big letters like kills 99% of all known whatevers :-)

I disagree that 3% isn't enough, considering it kills pwm/fungus/pest eggs/larvae/root rot, but I digress.
Do you use 3% straight or do you cut it with water? Also Have you used it on plants with success? There's a product called Zerotol that is gaining some steam and it's a higher percentage of h2o2 I believe and it's used as a preventative and to lower yeast, mold, e coli and salmonella on buds. In Michigan there was a recall that was over the limit of e coli and Salamander on some product, no joke.

I did not say it didn't work!

It just takes too long to work effectively at that concentration!

In any industrial use of H2o2 for sanitizing, like some food packaging and production facilities.
3% won't cut it! High % peroxide is used.

While we use Idophor in sanitizing most of our food processing equipment..
Some things require a higher degree of clean and it has to be fast as some equipment just can't remain in contact with the idophor long enough.
You have to use something powerful and fast...

In a local herb growing facility. They grow by thin film hydro. I helped set up the automated systems and the sensors. When this place has to sanitize one of the lines. They use High % peroxide solutions.. like a 10% solution.

3% peroxide is made for human topical use. It doesn't damage the skin at that concentration... Get that 10% on your skin and it turns white, dead skin cells.

Now then, as per USDA instructions for using 3% as a "sanitizer".

At room temps it must remain in contact with the things being sanitized for 10 minutes to actually be effective!

If you heat the 3% to 150 deg. F. It has to remain in contact for at least 1 minute.

These are minimum contact times to kill bacterial's and viral's!!!!! Some bacterial strains take the 10 minutes even when the H2o2 is heated!

It is plain to see that in all reality. 3% hydrogen peroxide will not make an effective sanitizing agent for our use...In most cases.

10% HP will kill anything, on contact!
JUST WEAR GLOVES WHEN YOU USE IT!

I'll say it again Physan 20

"a broad range disinfectant, fungicide, virucide, and algaecide which effectively controls a wide variety of pathogens on hard surfaces and plants. Its applications include greenhouses, hard surfaces, lawn and turfgrass, seedlings and cut flowers, decorative fountains, pools and birdbaths, and plants."

At it's price per gallon.. WHY?

Bleach and 40% HP are way cheaper.

Specialized products, or anything sold to Cannabis growers is so damn over priced!
