I'll be leaving for work for nearly a week.

I have two recently topped (above the second true node) plants in 12" pots under two 6500k cfl's each.

I have the tops from these two plants in individual bubblers catching some of the light off to the side in the cab. Plants were topped within three and five days.

Everything was watered heavily yesterday.

I know how fast these plants are growing, but my question is, should I over compensate for the fact that I'm going to be gone for a week and leave the lights about 3-4" higher than I would ideally like? I mean, in the long run, a week worth of a little bit of stretch is better than an entirely torched plant, right?

lol ur only gonna be gone a week they are gonna take that long just to come back from being topped .

the first plant that i topped is recovering incredibly well. it responded within probably half a day. it is actually moving faster than i anticipated and that's really the reason for this post.

the second is doing fine but just started working on the new growth today, so i'm not too concerned.
