Going from 24/0 to outside...ween them to 18/6 beforehand or no need?

All under 24 hours of light for 1 1/2 to 2 month veg. Then I planned on putting them straight outside where light here is 14 hours per day.

Do I need to start cutting back their light now to 20/4 or 18/6 for a bit, or will they be fine going straight outside to the 14 hours of light?

I've heard different opinions and I just don't want them to hermie or go into total shock on me, especially because I have heard the Fem seeds are very picky.

These are Fem Greenhouse and regular Mandala.

All opinions appreciated and considered.

Thanks for the answer darkdestruction420

I am hoping they just go into flower nice and smooth with no funny business!

Shouldnt be a problem, im assuming they are mature and showed preflowers already since you said its 6-8 weeks into veg, if they are not it might be a bit longer than if they were mature.

They should be just fine, I use a similiar method on my plants. This time of year with the days getting shorter and going from 24/0 to 14 hours of light they should just simply go into flower with no problems. My clones go from 24/0 to 18/6 then to whatever daylight is available once I set them out and they go into flower anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks after the change. Plants I start from seed go from 18/6 to available daylight and they also start to flower in 10 to 14 days usually depending on whether indica or sativa. Happy growing

That's good to hear, thanks canefan.

Anybody itching for football season as much as I am??

Training camps starting up now, I can smell it...Let's get it on!

I always heard you were supposed to harden off indoor plants by slowly introducing them to the outdoor climate, but your plants are 2 months old so they should be fine. Try to see if the temperature outside is a lot hotter or colder then your inside grow room.

I know about hardening off in the shade for a few days, I am only concerned with going from straight 24 hours of light to 14 hours of light. Most growers start theirs at 18/6 from what I've researched and going from 18 hours to 14 hours is not a big deal, but obviously a 10 hour light difference is way more than 4.
