My first try at aeroponics.. What a stresssful setup for a diy'er.. I have had a few successful grows in the past with hydrofarms etc and im trying my hand at this...

I was way off thinking that i could treat this system like soil..

ITs been a nightmare from the begining but im getting things stable. i think ive done everything wrong but maybe im just neurotic...

im growing a few strains i picked up from various stores, god bud, blue dynamite, double diesel, mazar sharif...

Wanted to test what will grow what wont etc ...

started with 3 of each seed, and i killed my last of the sour diesel

god bud is doing well even through all the abuse.

Im starting with a hydrohut
400 MH/hps ballas and lights
300W CFL DIY
aeroponic cloner 25 site mad from toughbox from home dePOT

my current ph swings from 5.4-5.9 depending on the day
ppm 150 including distilled water which my meter picks up with 80-100PPM??

At first my tank wouldent stop going up in ph while ppm remained the same.. so i started over new tank and 0 nutes.

All Criticism and comments suggestions welcome im using lucas formula 8/16 it seems like a good place to start . Ive always used gh anyways with decent results.

Cool. I've always wanted to try aero. Been doing mostly coco so far. I've also got a god bud cross (sweet god). Quite a compact plant. Shortest of the strains I grow - does not even double in height early in flower. My first batch is at 6 weeks flower right now and looks to be a quick finisher. Will be interesting to see how yours turn out. Quick noob to aero question: do you run the misting system all the time or cycle it on and off? The couple of sick plants there seem to be suffering from a combo of overwatering and out of range ph. But the bigger plants look good. Never used lucas but if it is similar to gh you should be aces.

lucas IS gh but only micro and bloom...and ya its running all the time.... dwc runs 24/7 and i have tons of airsace and dissolved oxygen to boot i dont think they should be feeling the over watering...over watering usually happens ecause they dont get enough o2but my roots hang in air...i may get a timer but i havent found any consensus on how much on/off ore even if there should be an off phase
