THC has to be moved to a lower class ......once it is class 2 (just 1 drop) transporting it becomes legal ..so does banking it

that has to happen first and when it does the ppl that have geared up and gotten a solid rep are going to cash in allowing them to grow even bigger

the banking ......with it legal there will be a weed stock exchange on strains and amount testing at what for sales to shops anywhere

if big pharm wants in then we all get the laws changed finally making it a trade product

as for GMOs that could be fun .......take the breeding to the next lvl .....but think about it already doing it on a primitive scale with the breeding methods u are selecting the genes u want to make the plant the way u want then it is cloned billions of times

really would not be all that hard to collect different strains from everywhere map the genes and then alter them based on what the ppl most liked about that strain .....

because the old guard is still stopping it .......they are going to be out of office with in 10 more years as they are dying or getting caught in something

the tobacco ppl lobbyist will not start pushing it until they are ready to jump on the market .....buying up what they are is only part of it as they know tobacco is on way out with whole cities making it illegal to smoke in

i know 2 cities that u will get a ticket for smoking in public (sidewalks street park) .....hell my own county has a 1500 buck fine smoke disturbs your neighbor (couple of guys smoking cigars outside can get u 1500 fine if smoke blows their way and they dislike it)

Big tobacco already bought land anticipating legalization, they've been holding on to it waiting. They've already got the equipment for industrial cropping and the agricultural know how.

While the majority of cannabis growers still spend money on overpriced bottled nutrients and throw out their dirt after one use. A lot of big croppers don't even have proper bathroom facilities on site when they've got trimmers working. So bud is being handled by people shitting and pissing outside with no place to wash their hands. This stuff is supposed to be medicine...

When the big legalization boom hits federal levels, hopefully they leave a hobby market for us. The guys that get the contracts are gonna be the guys that have been working in agriculture for generations. They know what they're doing, they don't need to be taught regulations for fertilizer applications (those are thing, you can fuck up the local water supply even with organics), or regulations for how water is irrigated and stored. The list goes on.

Scribbler on a weed blog laid out a case for Ganj. dropping to $3. a gram, dispensary price, when the new states come on board after the election. He did not give a timeline. I was not totally sold but it could mean smugglers could acquire in a legal state, and ship it to prohibition states, cutting out the prohibition grow premium, and the, farmer to smuggler, transfer premium. Prices may not drop greatly(?) in illegal states but I think supplies would increase a bunch.

smuggler is not a easy job as i might think
1 bring in any large amount means u are stepping on someone else trade
2 u need to know the players in both areas and make contacts along the road
3 ppl always think smuggling is easy ....it is not takes a certain mind set ability to deal under stress
4 the deal needs to be brokered before the weed even leaves .....get to end point with no cash u waiting is always going to get u caught
5 then there is the transport it self
a) u work alone u are going to get busted .....u need a team of 4 ppl in 3 cars
b )u to have clean drivers clean records ....meaning a rotation of ppl
c) the transports need to be as common as flies
d) everything during the transport is in cash to leave no record

i have a idea for a back up plan but it takes a bit of conman magic

u still have the number 1 to deal with no matter what u do so u are going to need to have some major player (biker gang or 3) backing u to deal with what can possible come for u .......if u hit the wrong market it will not matter u will be killed or have to kill ......at best u hit the wrong market and they demand a 20 or 30% tax plus u run trips for them now and then
