Gnats

ok so i have little flys in my tent and what i have read form this forum they are gnats so i tried fly strips didnt work not watering for few days didint work potato skin didnt work
so im going chemical im in week one of flower so what should i use to get rid of them and are they really a big danger too plants .

I got rid of gnats before by spraying diluted tea tree oil on my plants, it took a couple weeks but eventually they went away.

try to get some good clean sand, not from your backyard or the beach, but maybe from like a pool store, and put about an inch or two or top of your soil... the gnats are attracted to the moistness of the soil and the warmth provided by your grow.. the sand makes a lil barrier for the soil, and will keep them from free access to the thing that they like, the moist soil, and won't harm anything..
i would stay away from any kind of chemicals escpecially in flower...
