Glycerine Coil

So, I just got this awesome bong made by pyrology glasss. It's a straight tube with a perc and a glycerine coil, I also have one of their inline ash catchers. My comment about it is, that I took some rips when the coil was hot from me running some hot water through it and the hits were smoother (not by much) than when I froze it. I know that some people use warm bong water, I've never liked it because of the steaminess. If you own or have access to a glycerine coil, try it warm and tell me what you think.

Its the right section....... The Glass House is more than just buy/sell/trade its everything glass. :) Perhaps if you had some pictures it might be a more interactive conversation! :)

Nice piece! I have been eyeing those coils, well illadelph coils, for some time. They are still a bit pricey. Really nice alternative to an ice cube. I put warm water in my ash catcher, seems to filter the smoke better.

If you have the means to pick up a glycerine coil I would highly recommend it. They are really expensive though, I would say how much mine cost but it was a gift so I don't know how much was shelled out for it. next time I go into my local head shop I'm pretty sure I'll get a good idea though. I would also recommend haggling with glass prices, one of my local head shops has a standard 400% mark up. Though, occasionally a new employee will accidentally price something at cost, myself and a friend have gotten really nice pieces for cheap from their mistakes.

From what I heard, the blowers from illadelph left and started a better company. You can tell that the newer pyrology ones are better. Check this pic you can see the illadelph only uses one coil on the inside, vs the 2. Using double coils makes it so there is no drag at all. The pyrology also comes with an unground double o-ring joint. Much much better. They are also like half the price of illadelph at a better quality.

Well yeah. When u copy someone I hope you would at least make it better. That illy coil is probably 3 years older if not more. The killadelph coils are still my favorite..

I had a pyrology coil... The coil broke but the base is great still... I was wondering if anyone knows if an Illadelph coil will fit the pyrology base
