Sounds like one hell of a tall tale from an LP hoping for the best. Forcing someone to sell all the cannabis the LPs cant sell right now. If that were the case why not only allow LP storefronts? Why would they get to avoid the overhead and for the little guy to peddle LP hay?

Just saying it sounds like a metric shit ton of wishful thinking that the LPs are to be the ONLY people doing store front sales. Kind of like when they tried to monopolize the current system. To me it just sounds like an LP trying to discourage any further potential competition
This is exactly what I was thinking. Sounds like wishful thinking. Just thought I'd pass along what I was hearing. Sometimes when I hear this shit I have to bite my cheeks not to laugh.

Ok - I just heard this from one of the newest LPs - that the government has promised come August they will shut down the dispensaries and only compassion clubs can stay open IF an LP is willing to source them product.

So that might be why all the talk from tweed about original advocates and early compassion clubs....
Keep your spirits up Princess!

We all support what you are doing for patients and have the utmost respect for you for providing help to sick and dying canadians. It is nothing short of fascism that the LP believes, like calyx crusher has stated, that they would be the sole supplier for store front dispensaries/clubs. They produce sub par cannabis and even worse the irradiated batches they push as being "healthy" that are completely stripped of value due to a loss of terpenes and structurally dry as dust.

I am 100% in support of your business maintaining your status quo in relation to supply and I believe you have a great shot at taking down such a fascist system if the time comes and you have to make your way to court. In the meantime keep doing the good deed you have been working on and let your noble intentions fuel your journey!

I believe that. Makes perfect sense.Tweed suddenly changed their messaging to supporting 'the good ones' recently, along with growing rights, and then they act like that was their position all along.

This is what all the little sheep voted for the Liberals for, right? "Legalization"??? lol You made your bed, kiddies. The Party of Harper-lite and C-51 is not going to legalize weed, they're going to take it over.

I call BS. Like alcohol, it will be up to the province to regulate sales. Cities have begun the process of licensing dispensaries and they will push to retain their right to regulate and tax business within the municipality. The Vancouver cops said yesterday that they do not have the resources to enforce the deadline for non approved dispensaries and will leave that to bylaw officers. Is Ottawa going to send in the RCMP to take over policing of Vancouver...somehow I doubt that will ever happen. So then what? With legalization a year away, I'm trying to think of a constitutionally compliant law that will restrict production and sale of a legal product to two dozen companies... The moral of this story is never listen to anything a desperate LP say's....

It only makes sense to those that lack the ability to think. It amazes me that idiots who lack the mental capacity to put an 'X' on a election ballot are suddenly political experts and critics once the polls close.
Lofl, you kiddies made your bed by not voting or voting for losers. Now you get to sit back, shut up and watch Trudeau spend the next four years on a personal mission to piss off Dizzy. I guess you didn't get the memo, but legalization is coming next year, and until we see the legislation next spring, the details are rumour and speculation... Some of us will intelligently discuss what we think will happen or what we would like to see happen and others will continue to provide childish remarks like " The Party of Harper-lite and C-51 is not going to legalize weed, they're going to take it over.". Ah well...every forum needs some comic relief!
