I'm surprised PETA isn't all over his ass.

I loved when he said "Gee, I really thought that was going to work".

Just goes to show how much Glenn Beck actually knows versus what he "thinks" he knows.

Of course it was a rubber frog. There was quick interview a guy that was on the set, and he stated that very clearly the real frog was swapped out for a cheap fake frog.

Glenn Beck is an asshole, yes.. Frog killer no.

Peta did jump him, but they were smart enough to know that no frogs were hurt during the show.

F the frog what about the poor sheople being led to the slaughter?

You realize he set that whole thing up and it was ALL a metaphor.

Especially the "Gee, I really thought that was going to work."

a metaphor for what? His entire life? "I thought", but turns out I was dead wrong?
Listen to the full clip. If you can't understand that metaphor, what does that say about you?

what "I thought but turns out I was dead wrong" is actually "I ask important questions that no one will answer (because it will make them look bad if they tell the truth), speculate because no one will answer, and hope to God I am wrong."

That's not the frog metaphor, but that is what Beck is actually doing (opposed to what you think he is doing, guessing and being wrong). You don't think regulation of government and people bothering to find out what is actually going on is a good thing? You just want them to be able to do whatever and not tell you about it?

It's not a bad thing to question authority. However, when MILLIONS of people are watching you and hanging on your every word, it is in very bad taste to say some of the things he says - not just about the President, but about our entire country. A lot of what he says is either contradictory to other statements he's made, blatantly false, or just plain made up. I mean, one minute he's saying our health care system is crap, and the next he's saying it's the best in the world (it's NOT! we all know that).

He's not even a journalist, he's just a guy who sits around googling stuff and trying to fit it into his conspiracy theory. He's going to end up getting someone hurt or killed, because some nutjob is going to take him seriously.

I don't care for him one bit. I think he's a clown. A potentially dangerous clown.

If we were really living in a socialist/communist/nazi country, Glenn Beck wouldn't be allowed to speak in public.

He should consider himself lucky and shut up while he's "ahead".

Beck says our health care insurance system is bad, but says our doctors are the best in the world (which they are). You misunderstood what he said for a contradiction.

That's a fear Beck has, to not be able to speak publicly because of a socialist country. You know what that means right? No more first amendment. He has the right to say what he wants, just like you do.

People do and always have made up their own minds based on the videos, sound bites, documents and other pieces of evidence he provides to back up his speculation.

That's a right he has and a right we all have. If you don't believe in that right you have no positives values. However, I do believe you have positive values, at least some.

I didn't say I don't believe in rights. When you're watched by millions of people, you do need to be careful how you exercise that right, though.

I've heard him say america has the best "health care system" in the world several times, never did he specify that he meant only the doctors and hospitals (in fact, I've heard him say that being treated in an American hospital is bad for your health, and they'll kill you, etc. Why would he say those things if he thinks they're the best in the world?). these aren't clips and bytes I'm listening to that take things out of context, trust me, I am not that easily fooled.

He's a television commentator. He says whatever it takes to get the ratings so he can get paid. He does NOT actually care about America, or the people in it... or he wouldn't have started all this Obama conspiracy nonsense (and yes, I think it's nonsense).

He doesn't come on TV and just talk. He quotes people, uses videos and documents to back up anything he says.

You must not watch him if you don't see that. Maybe you're blind and can only hear what he says. Even if, your ears and your mind should be enough to understand that at least SOMETHING is going on. How can you ignore clear statements from the president that accredit exactly what Beck speculates? Even if you're blind, remember you still got your ears!

Why is it that if I say that about the president people assume I MUST be a racist?
Because if you don't fully support Obama in every way that Automatically makes you a racist. Only a Racist would disagree with the anointed one. Truly, Barack Hussein Obama was sent from the Heavens to save mankind!! The Light Bringer has come!! You will be smote down if you do not believe in his almighty power!

Because you're not black?

I'm white, so me saying I don't like Glenn Beck (also white) can never be misconstrued as racism.

To Justanotherfried:

Writing things on a chalkboard is not "evidence" to back anything up. Drawing cirlcles and connecting them with lines isn't evidence, either. I'm not saying the man has never made a legitimate point in his life (I couldn't honestly tell you), I'm saying when it comes to his Obama conspiracy theory, he's grasping at straws and it's obvious. No, I'm not blind, I'm just not easily distracted from his WORDS by flashing colors on a television screen.

Hey DoobnVa ....

How many times have you actually watched the Glenn Beck TV show? I mean, are you a regular listener/watcher, or are you just reciting what you've heard others say?

Doob, you are a complete stooge of the Democrat Party. It's OBVIOUS you get your opinions on Beck (and just about everything else) from Media Matters and MoveOn.org. It's also obvious you don't actually listen or watch his show, so maybe you should zip it until you have. And as for "All of us" knowing our health care system isn't the best... well pal, you speak for the socialist lemmings like yourself and don't EVER speak for the rest of us, you aren't even close to being up to the task. BAAAAAA-BAAAAAA
