Today's the day ..... started them on 12/12. I'm all excited to see sex, I know I have a while but I feel like a kid the week before x-mas now. I have one plant that is growing differently than the others... much lankier and little taller. It gives me the feeling it might be a male (no scientific proof - just gut feeling).

I think I'll have a harvest party when these babies are done. Doesn't that sound fun..... group of friends, all the pipes, vaporizors, bongs filled. Cannibus munchies and joints everywhere. I wanna go comatose on my first harvest.

My batteries are dead in my camera or I'de put up pics of the plants.

I know it's really early but I see what I believe are pistals on 2 of the plants. Both are the Chemo strain.

The 2 remaining are the Sapphire Star and neither is showing pistals or sacks yet. But I did have a really bizarre thing happen with 1 of these and I can't explain this - so if anyone has an idea please tell me.

I'm looking at the plant last night moving leaves around I notice this little dried up thing sitting on a lower leaf. I picked it up and noticed yellow powder on the leaf. Now it was a very small amount and I took the pod out the room for inspection. I have only pictures on the internet to compare it too but it really looks like a male pollen pod. I searched the rest of the plant and it's not even showing sex yet. There are no balls forming but there are also no hairs. How can this be?

I flushed the powder into the soil when I watered.... didn't want it airborn if it was pollen. But I did not remove the plant from the room cause it doesn't make sense. I have only started 12/12 3 nights ago..... and there is nothing else on the plant.

So thoughts? I don't want to trash this plant for paronia's sake.

I have 3 females out of 4 plants..... hooray for me . Nice thing too is the male is the one I gut feeling was going to be male during veg. so it's a confidence booster to this first time grower.

I know I've been slacking with the pics. I promise I will get some up this week....

hi girly, im glad all your hard work is paying off, 3 out of 4 is great. i dont think it would be pollen at this early stage but keep an eye on things. keep growing.

The plants are responding well - they have become bushy little bitches. I took a clone off of one yesterday. Another supercropping accident but I saved it for a clone was big enough. From now on I think I better just LST - I have bad habit of pinching too hard

I also added some pics of some of my clematis. It maight be boring for the guys but I thought that you might appreciate them being a chick and all. I also but a bunch of them in my pic profile.

my first reg seeds, i got 9 of 9, but out of the last 4 i put into flower, i think 3 of the 4 are males

Aww I'm sorry to hear that crazy - maybe your lone female will be an amazon woman

I've been neglecting my grow journal badly - my apologies. Here are current pics of them in flower. It's confirmed 3 beautiful ladies in early bloom. The small one had the bent stem early on and was stunted from that, but it's doing ok - just smaller.

I need honest feedback on how you think they are doing for 2 and half weeks under 12/12. I think they are doing well - but I haven't grown before and I want to know if bud development is on track.

Here are some bud pics at almost 6 weeks flowering.

It fucking stinks!! My parents in law are due over tomorrow too and my hubby is very worried about the smell. I did up a diy carbon filter that helps but I'm gonna try the kitty litter and pine sol around the grow room.

I'll let you know if I get strange looks from the parents in law tomorrow lol.

First time grower here, and your 400w hps is kickin' butt on my 250w hps! Congrats!

They didn't notice any odd smells that I could tell and my sister was just here and said nothing. Now I'm sure my sister would say something if she smelled anything.

Hooray!!! I have successfully harvested my first plant. I manucured the buds up like FDD illustrated in a harvest tutorial (Thanks FDD). I weighed em out wet to get an idea of what I might end up with. Wet weight is 148.5 grams or 5.30 oz. I read that the buds will lose 60% to 80% of thier weight so based on that I can expect between and 1 or 2 oz. of dried bud off this plant. I'm happy for with that for a first grow. I also have 2 more plants that need a little more time before harvest. I would suspect they are going to yeild a little more....

I used that same tutorial for harvesting.
That sounds like you did a great job girly, especially for a 1st grow.

I need to do something about the smell of my plants as I do not have anything set up yet. Hubby keeps asking me to find some plans and I have some but am not sure which is best.

Are ya working now or did you decide to stay home?

So you passed the smell test. thats great. I'm so lucky I don't have many visitors 'cause right now I would be in big trouble.
