No!, it is awesome. I grow about a dozen strains at a time and have tried probably 50 different strains, hrand this actually stands out as being supurb. Your buddy must not have grown it well or didnt geta gooid pheno. Many strains have great phenos and shitty phenos, yhou have to search for the good ones. The one i smoked was the indica pheno which was a perfect 50.50 sativa, indica cross, that looked awesome, tasted literally like lemon and skunk, not in a subtle way but in a very bold insensce sort of way and was extremly strong with a very non paranoid, energetic, thought provoking sort of way. I hear bad reviews but i hear way more good reviews than bad, i totally understand why it won two years in a row, its a keeper,

you cant smoke something and then criticize the strain, grow a bunch of seeds, try all the phenos, sample at different times, and then give some input, othewise its like drinking a ten dollar bottle of merlot, and saying ohh, merlot sucks.

I yielded 1.5 oz from this strain at full 11 weeks, it was kind of poor too compared to others that doubled it. Although no complaints, mine looks just like the one in your pics and the description couldn't be more right. This stuff is delicious and the high is potent and long lasting. Really worth it.

yeah it won 2 cups in a row...wonder y people like it so much
You should look into it a lil more to see how the judging is done.Between ads, freebies and special judges only competitions. I was a little suprised to see how easy it is to win a cup. Lots of advertisement in high times. Almost all the big seed banks, Sensi, Greenhouse, Barneys all cut their teeth using high times to propel themselves to world status. And this is nothing against their beans, just saying its not as fair of a competition as it may seem to promote with its 1st 2nd and 3rd place finishes.

Once again nice report, more rep from me when I can! I'm planning on flowering an OG 18 and an SLH right next to each other so it was cool to see your thoughts on both! Again thanks for the detailed follow up!

Thanks man! I'm glad these reviews are useful. I have about a dozen reviews waiting to post but I just can't find time. Good luck on the OG18 & SLH grow. Sounds like it will be a great one. Peace!

Has anyone had any problems of getting seeds in their grows? I tried to grow the SLH outdoors on twice and both times I got seeded bud. None of the other strains that was grown next to the SLH had any problems of seeds. Could this just be a strain related problem?

i've got one going now at about 7 weeks into flowering and her buds are sooo small! i don't know why. Did you notice a big increase in bud size the last 2 weeks or so?
Old, but 9 weeks is really short for a haze to finish. Looking at more 10, 11, 12 weeks to flower for most of the phenos

Ive noticed SLH and Lemon Skunk are pretty sensitive to nutrients.

Thanks man! I appreciate the rep and feedback. I've grown more than 20 strains since this report and I still think it's a great strain (in my top 10). Right now I'm really digging the LA Confidential, Apollo 13bx, Confidential Cheese and Holy Grail 69. Those four are true winners out of the 20+ strains I've grown since this report. The only downfall to LA Confidential is the time it takes to veg so I veg them huge as I can but it takes 60+ days to veg. It pays off when you sample the LA Con...... the work is worth it! Peace and enjoy the SLH!

Hey Closed4finishing - or anyone else experience'd with SLH-

I'm scrog'ing a SLH from seed and am getting a little worried about the incomming stretch. I'm growing under a 250w in a 7g pot and am at day 60 of veg. My screen's about half full, lots of tops, do you think I veg'd to long? Thanks for any input.

I just harvested my SLH, and it was a light yielder, but I am happy with the smoke. I harvested on day 58 of 12/12 I think. It was definitely finished, so I pulled it. This was my 1st indoor grow, and I had 2 other strains too. I could sell what I grwe for 60 1/8 if I wanted to without any complaints I gurantee. This is all personal for me. Let's just say that I would pay that for it. But that's whats weed of this quality goes for around my way.

we get this around hurr every now and then. it's always awesome, but it seems like every couple runs the buds have mad seeds. another friend is running some of those bag seeds and got a nice pheno out of one of them... frosty as hell with those foxtailing buds and smells amazing. the taste is probably the best part of this strain and the high is so clean and clear

also makes your fingers feel like they got glue on em, it's awesome

Closed4fishing,

I'll be starting my first grow soon, I plan in buyin from attitude when there October promotion hits on the 5th. I have been looking @ Super Lemon Haze vs Hawaiian snow. Anyways I have a couple Q's?

1. Did you use/need a carbon filter and if so at what stage of the grow did u need to start using it.

2. What temps did you keep your ladies at, are they heat tolerant?

Thanks
