ghetto growbox pretty much-open for opinions and criticism

I know this is horrible , so its all good , but is working =/
Growing only 1 plant.

Use'n a box with no roof , the box is 2 foot wide on all walls , 3 foot tall.
I straight aluminum foil'd the walls , yes i did lol

Use'n a 150 watt hps light on it , about 14-15 inches above the plant.
A tower fan with 3 fans small fans , keep 2 towards the light , one towards the plant.
intake fan at the bottom , for more air circulation and reduce temp.
Temp stays around 81 when light is on , around 71 when light is ff.
Soil:Sta-Green , straight from lowes.
18 hours light , 6 darkness.

The plant is exactly 20 days old now. It is 8 inches in height , 30 good healthy visible leaves. Is that good or bad for 20 days old? never seen anyone grow it and this is my first grow.

Open for opinions/criticism
 
Ditch the foil pronto. It absorbs light and creates hot spots. Pretty much the worst thing, next to a mirror that is. Hey if your having fun and it's growing... Then it's all good

I told him that too! On the other thread???....The same thread......???How many you got going imsohigh???

Do you need that many for all the same plant? Is that 3-4 threads now about the same thing....Keep it real man!
 
Lime, I got 2 threads the same .. I posted the other one in a diff category first , then seen the name of this thread and figured i posted that in the wrong thread , so i put it on here. thought I deleted the other one but apparently not.

Right now I'm smoking my first girl. Indica dom. "Mystery" bagseed. Nice high too! :weed:

150 w Hps. Got a couple more coming up. Sativa dom 10 tops 30":leaf: Lst'd, Sat/Ind Hybrid 54", all a mystery...so far so good! Kinda lucked out with the 3 different types!:bigjoint:
 
oh nice! how many plants are you growing with your 150w hps , cause thats what i got and was curious on how many plants i could grow , gonna get a good grow box and do it right next time , surprised my plant is growing so well with how i got it setup right now.

2-3Lrg ones...depending on plant size and girth. I got 2 under mine listed above^^^^^

Soon to see this plant of yours?

be bale to get a pic here real soon , dont hate on where its at , my uncle transplanted it for me cause i was afraid to kill it , its not close to the center of the pot lmao .. but ill get the pics soon

You can fit multiple plants under one - but there is a very low point of diminishing returns when it comes to plant numbers. Because you can fill the entire light spread easily with just one plant. Adding more plants just means they'll all have to be smaller and compete with each other for the light once they get bigger. Plus, more plants equals more work... I'd start with one plant (two if you are adventurous) and take it from there.
