Here is my grow "room" op, lol. The lights are 6500k 23w. Fan to circulate I was using a flood light not knowing the difference. I have been growing about 9 days and haven't seen much growth in the past 2-3 days. Just put these lights up five minutes ago. Is my baby close enough or no? Also bought some mg plant food, I know that mg is notorious for being shit but I'm po' pimpin. I bought a cheap Ph kit as well what do you think it says? I'm not sure. Thanks for the input fellas. Lols and shit talk are welcome as this grow op is deserving of it. Royal Queen Seeds Ice. Pics below.

That is as cheap assed set up as ive ever seen. But i guess your growing still and learning.Reduce watering now let the cup dry between watering and make sure there are drain holes in that second hand coffee cup.

You need to move your lights closer...couple inches.
The rule I use for my lights in my grow.
I put the back of my hand as near as I can to the light. If it is to hot for me..it is to hot for my plants.
May want to put some drainage holes in your cup if you haven't done so already.

Yes I have, so a couple inches from light as long as its not too hot?

You are correct... here is a pic of how close my lights are to the top of my plants. Just remember my CFL bulbs are bigger so they are about 4 inches above the tops.

I'm a newbie too.. but, this seems to be working for me.

mzu, that is not a wire. It is a irrigation drip line I have setup. I built a gravity feed water system for my plants. Because, I'm frequently traveling out of town. Babies need their water.
