hope this is the right place to post this. are all three stages needed?

Yes, all three mixed together are needed, always micro first, at least that's how I use it, make sure you ckeck the ppm's of your solution, I find if mixed according to instruction your ppm's are way too high, thus burning your plants, adjust ph as well you know.

ok thats how i always used it but i saw GH makes a new 2 stage kit with no gro in it. just micro and bloom.

The Lucas formula uses only the two.. Bloom and micro.. But you have to get RO water and prop. cal/mag additive..
