GH Flora Series - Did you know to add Armor Si and CalMag first??

Hey guys, stumbled upon a little something this morning about adding Armor Si and Calmag *FIRST* when mixing a new nutrient reservoir.

Ive run the Flora series and calmag for years no issues, always adding the Micro nutrient to the res first, which Im sure I read on some official site, but aparently that may not be relevant if using Calmag?

Today I went to there website to make a custom feed schedule since I was going to introduce ArmorSI aswell as liquid Koolbloom and my res is a lot bigger now so I wanted a schedule, and to my surprise on the left side of there feedchart calcs it mentions to add Armor SI and Calmag before adding anything else.

Ive always added the micro first and the calmag is actually usually last in the res. Have I been locking something out the whole time??

How do you fellas treat these guidelines??

My take is si 1st and since micro is basically calmag in disguise I'd say those two are interchangeable. Since most well water has some variety of cal mag already I can see how calmag would be second. Only of you see a cloud have you fucked it up..

I use rain water not well water so I was thinking some calmag may be needed

I actually do live on well water with a very high ammount of Cal / iron but dont use that for growing

I always add micro, grow, bloom then calmag

Add full cal mag to rainwater and check your pH. I have to add bicarb to raise to 6.2 range.

I'm hydroponic so I'm happy at 5.8
