GFCI on breakers or on plug?

This is my buddy's new B-room electrical panel. Really proud of the installation, each row has its own 240 breaker and the timers are right above



Anyone have any suggestions on GFCI on breakers vs. GFCI on the plug (for 120V applications, 240 are hard to track so my ballasts are still only surge/breaker protected)?

Nice room bro. I think they do the same thing but I am no electrician.

No differnence between the 2 besides the one on the breaker being a little more convenient...you don't have to install on every outlet on the circuit. Other than that they are identical. Nice room

Interesting, I thought a gfci outlet worked for an entire circuit..... Hmm..... Bring out the links lol

Well lets say you have 3 outlets on a circuit and you change one to gfci only that outlet is affected not the other 2
