Hey people my plant is getting too tall for its area and I was wondering if I could tie the stalk down or low stress train it still? it's about 2-3 weeks into flowering and its about 3.5 tall. I don't want to stress it out or anything and have it go hermie on me, I just want to know if theres anything I can do to it while its flowering to pull it down a bit?

Look up low stress training (LST)
Your not gonna be able to tie down the main stalk now, its already gotten to woody and will snap on you. You can try tying branches up (screw hooks in the ceiling with strings attached). Or you can also try tying down some branches but I dont know how much that will do. You see the purpose of LST is to have the main stalk's top lower than the side branches tops so that the side branches are pumped a hormone produced only in the tops of the plants that produce fat colas.

his problem is the main stalk is getting to tall. not the side stems guys. the side stems are the easy problem. the main stalk i believe his his main concern. Topping it and fimming it wont stop it from growing any taller it will just split the top node and create 2 tops. but they will still keep going up and up. it might still be a option maybe those u can lst. but still might not do what your looking for.. how much more space do you have to work with height wise? how tall was the plant before u put it into flowering? j/w i have about 5 feet in my cabinet and my plants are about 20 inchs atm. with about 10inchs of soil under it
Heightwise I have probably another inch, unless I cut a hole in the bottom of the rubbermaid for the pot to slide through up to the rim and just raised the tubs, then I have another 7-8 inches. I'll post pictures of everything in about an hour when I turn the lights on. This is my first grow so I'm just kind of learning as I go

well if u only have 1 inch left then i would go with cutting a hole in the bottom for starters. could u maybe pull the top of the stalk over to the side wall? then gradualy try to grap it around the inside of the tote? main stalk might be to strong at this point. but maybe if u take it easy and slowly it can work out?
I know the side branches are not your problem. I was just mentioning tying them down to promote other growth below.
Chopping your plant's head off, especially this late in the game, will not benefit you at all, in fact, it can lead to a possible hermi.
You can't bend the main stalk now because its gotten so woody over time but the top of the main stalk may still be easier to bend. You could just tie a slip knot towards the top right underneath a node and gently pull the top down and to the side then tape the other side of the slip knot string in place on the wall or something. Be innovative, people do shit like this a lot just to keep the main cola from snapping their stalks. This will be preparation for that as well as LST.
I could definitely still bend the stalk its not that woody yet, its only about a half inch thick. I was planning on cutting the hole in the bottom tonight and also probably start bending it slowly by slowly. Should I tie off like a "support rope" somewhere in the middle holding it in place going the opposite direction of the way I'm bending the stalk? if that makes any sense?
Couldnt you supercrop it? I did at 2 weeks in..
Squeeze the stem where you want to create a bend.. squeeze good all round till you hear the fibres crunch, then just bend the stalk over, then all the buds get even light producing better lower buds. You may split the stem but sellotape it up and you're good.

i would cut the hole in the bottom, tie it over to the side of the tote. do your counter tie going the op direction. i did it on my lst plant if u check cupple threads down or up from yours. just to keep the bottom strait up and the top half bending. after u got it tied to the side i would try to bend it sideways so you are wrapping it around the sides. dont try to much at once. slow does it

by the looks of it i dont think u will have a problem bending it. the stalk looks bendable. those are some RED stems u got there. looks sweet. im no pro but those leaves look abit sad. like there missing something? i bent mine 90 degrees in 1 bend and your stalk looks about the same as mine did. mine also wasnt in flowering so that might make the difference there

i AGREE THE LEAVES DO LOOK LIKE THERE MISSING SOMTHING.. WHAT LIGHTS YOU USING AND FOR HOW MANY PLANTS.. ALSO LOOKS LIKE THEY STRECHED? OR MABE NOT ENOUGH LIGHT .. REMEMBER TO KEEP CFLS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE.. DO YOU HAVE ANY SORT OF CO2 IN THE ROOM? THAT WILL HELP A BUNCH TO.. BUT YEAH MAN LOOKING PRETTY GOOD 
What could the leaves be missing? and it is a little stretched because when I first started growing it the plant stretched a lot due to not having enough lights, but now I'm running 8 26w and 2 43w 2700k and all for just this one plant. And no I don't have any c02 in there, do you have any links to a DIY for that? and what's the benefit?
